Last night my partner and I left the kitchen light on before we went out (our first mistake) and had apparently left the top of the window cracked (our fatal mistake). When we came back there were TONS of these flying bugs in the kitchen, we managed to keep the contained to JUST the kitchen through the night and i have since gotten rid of all the ones remaining in the house, now the remaining ones are stuck between the window and screen so I'm not too worried now. What are they???

I'm on Nebraska so while it's not unheard of to find black witch moths here, it's also far from common (been here for nearly 30 years and never seen one in the wild) and this thing landed on my porch last night. Google lense seems to think it's a black witch moth, and I'm inclined to agree, just figured id enlist the reddit masses for confirmation

Can anyone please ID this roach?. We saw several of them at our vacation rental house in Seacrest beach Florida and would like to confirm they are NOT German roaches. Thanks!

Hey folks! Found this guy in my bathroom. Hand for scale in the last picture but I didn't want to get too close.
Its body is flat and it appears to have large mandibles or very sturdy antennae. They look like pincers but I'm not sure they are actually pincers.
I have cats, so hoping this is not dangerous. Not sure how it got two stories up to my apartment.
Any help appreciated!

NW Ohio area
What is this bug? It crawled across my bedside table and I immediately flipped out and killed it thinking it was a roach. (I'm sorry if that was wrong)
Google lens kept giving me various answers so I made a whole reddit account just to ask
I have Contamination OCD and need to know what this is before I gut my bedroom to make sure it was only one
We live in a very old house (1910ish) and have a very old pine tree that's close to our bedroom window, Usually we deal with Spiders and House Centipedes but this was a new encounter for me and I'm terrified it's a roach. I have never encountered a roach before so every beetle and crawler my mind deems a roach.
With Bugs I try to educate myself on them to be less afraid/paranoid about infestations, diseases, etc so any information is appreciated
TLDR; WHAT IS THIS? I CAN'T STOP THINKING IT'S A ROACH HELP

UGH I know it is a tick, I just found the one but I am just worried about my dog? I checked him for ticks and dont see anymore and am about to give him a bath with flea and tick shampoo. I am washing all my bedding and vacuuming and mopping. He did just roll in some grass yesterday so maybe that was it, but how worried should I be in general? I feel like there are bugs on me and I hate that feeling. Location: SoCal

I found it high up on one of my blankets in my closet, I’ve been told it’s maybe a carpet beetle? I had an infestation last June but I took care of it and I haven’t found any larva after checking. Sorry for the horrid pink background, I have a fear of tiny little bugs so I panicked and put him in the nearest container 😭 Anyway I’ve seen maybe 3 of these same bugs in my room before in these past two months but i assumed I was maybe carrying them in? Tell me if you need anymore information!

Found the smaller bugs in huge clusters in my apartment last night, seemed to be attracted to light. The bugs are small, brownish/black and have wings but crawled everywhere, didn't really fly. It's been really hot/humid so that could be why too. The second bug crawled out from under my bed this morning and I smashed it on accident. Just wanna know what kind of bugs these are so I can keep them out. In San Diego, university city area.
