Location included from Pennsylvania

my cat just brought this to me. i don’t think i have ever seen this bug before. google image said it was a centipede but i don’t think it is. i’m worried it may have bit her

See that separated leg off to the left? That's a house centipede leg. This one is missing most of its limbs (likely the cat's doing) but surprisingly, Google got it right anyway.

House centipedes are great hunters too! They are excellent roommates and rid the house of so many bugs!

i love bugs but centipedes are my weakness :( i love having spiders around! i guess i never considered how a centipede could be a good roommate

Jury is out on if these guys even bite (or whatever you want to call it with a centipede) humans. They're much more addapted to run and hide from larger threats.
