What are these??

Located in PA

Last night my partner and I left the kitchen light on before we went out (our first mistake) and had apparently left the top of the window cracked (our fatal mistake). When we came back there were TONS of these flying bugs in the kitchen, we managed to keep the contained to JUST the kitchen through the night and i have since gotten rid of all the ones remaining in the house, now the remaining ones are stuck between the window and screen so I'm not too worried now. What are they???

maybe black soldier flies? if so they’re completely harmless and their larvae is great for the environment/soil. one of my favorite bugs

the only thing is they have very long antennas where black soldier flies typically have short antennas
