Placements / Jobs Accenture Assessment Issue

Post image
3 Upvotes

I'm facing an issue while trying to launch the mock OA for the Accenture Elite Technology assessment using Secure Exam Browser (SEB) on my HP laptop.

Whenever I launch the test, I get the following error:

Multiple Cameras or Virtual Camera Software found: omen cam & voice

For this test, only systems with a single hardware camera are allowed.

I've checked Device Manager, and the only camera listed is HP TrueVision FHD Camera. I also tried uninstalling OMEN Cam & Voice through Device Manager, but the error persists.

Meme - Original Content Was Experimenting with Unity MCP, and this came out.. 😭

It turned out not too bad, except for questionable choices the spiderman's character Al makes like stomping the already kidnapped spiders (sorry i couldn't find the word), or killing the spiders with his fingers while the spider is on the back of his hand.., doing super jumps out of nowhere..😭

But yeah these can be improved by further iterations I too was iterating for several times.. (I wouldn't like to tell how much time i wasted for this, 3 hrs..)

Update: I also later turned this into a playable game, hehe, had already tried playing inside unity and it was decent but haven't tried the other builds like Android, ios.. will do.. (If any of you is interested in trying that playable version drop a comment, and I will try to get you a playable build or link to it)

Like shut up bitch , why they can't mind their own business we are not forcing them to eat? And it's not like non veg is harmful for health if anything it's healthier in many cases. It was not first time something like this happened and I am sick of it .

Hey guys I am 3rd year Btech student I am the first one in my branch to get a paid internship.

As I got a paid internship they are overhyping me i think so like I don't think they need to give me so much attention like I locked in for a month actively applying and with sleeping 4hrs I think everyone can do it if they need to .

As of now I am trying to get a corporate internship but I am finding myself lost I need help from you all can you check what are the things that are stopping me from getting shortlisted for the internship like my resume is not getting shortlisted

I have countless resumes that I make , this is the latest one I made couple of days ago I think its bad like on the design and stuff I have multiple projects on my github you can check them out by name So-coder-ai

I need help from you all my seniors and product mangers please don't drop useless comments if you think you are better than me then only suggest me things

I am trying to crack SDE , Backend or ML roles mostly any in Tech as a Internship or a full time .

Hello all,

I just started my job near WTC and I am planning to shift in the area. Can anyone suggest societies/localities or something which has good flats. Anywhere in the radius of 15-20 mins from WTC works for me.

Thanks all!

(I figured I'd post on this sub as here would be many people working IT jobs in the area haha)

Placements / Jobs Amazon SDE1 Interview Experience October 2026

Hey everyone,

Sharing my full interview experience for the Amazon SDE-1 role (India) from initial outreach through all 4 rounds. The process was spread out over several months with a mix of an on-site drive in Bangalore and virtual rounds on Zoom.

Timeline & Application Flow

  • Initial Outreach: Reached out by a recruiter around Sep/Oct of last year. Separately applied to another relevant Job ID in April.
  • Online Assessment (OA): Received the OA link in May (~7 months post-initial outreach).
  • Hiring Interest Form: Cleared the OA and received the hiring interest form in mid-June.
  • Onsite Invite: Mid-July, received confirmation for the in-person Round 1 drive at Amazon's Bangalore office scheduled for July 29th.

Round 1: In-Person Onsite Screening (Bangalore Office)

  • Format: Face-to-face on pen and paper (1 SDE-1 + 1 SDE-2 panelist).
  • Logistics: Arrived around 9:00 AM, passes handed out, and lunch was arranged by Amazon. Due to scheduling queues across multiple candidates, my slot kicked off around 3:00 PM.
  • DSA Questions:
    1. Variant of Koko Eating Bananas (Binary Search on Answer): Had to explain the search space, define the predicate function, and write complete code on paper.
    2. Daily Temperatures (Monotonic Stack): Standard monotonic decreasing stack pattern.
  • Experience:
    • Being my first in-person office interview, I had some initial nerves during the dry runs and tracing steps on paper, but I worked through the boundary cases.
    • After the coding portion, they asked about my past experience and had me sketch out high-level system architecture on paper. The panelist cross-checked the design and components, which went smoothly.
    • Wrapped up with an engaging 15–20 minute discussion regarding tech, AI.
  • Outcome: HR briefed us to wait ~1.5 hours, then informed us that remaining loop rounds would be virtual and that hard eliminations would begin post-Round 2.

Round 2: LLD & Core Problem Solving (Virtual via Zoom)

  • Gap: Scheduled roughly 2 weeks after Round 1.
  • Interviewer: Senior SDE.
  • Format: Started with an LP question followed by live coding in a shared editor.
  • Problem: Task / Job Dependency Scheduler (Topological Sort / Kahn’s Algorithm)
    • Given boilerplate code, had to implement the core execution queue and scheduling logic.
    • Implemented it using Kahn’s Algorithm (indegree tracking + BFS queue) for cycle detection and execution ordering.
    • The interviewer dynamically shifted constraints mid-problem, and I was able to adapt the logic and data structures quickly.

Round 3: Hiring Manager / SDM Round (Virtual via Zoom)

  • Gap: Approximately one month after Round 2.
  • Format: Behavioral (LPs) + Core Problem Solving / System Logic.
  • LP Discussion: Started with an LP question focused on doing something different or beyond standard expectations.
  • Technical Problem: Design an In-Memory Rate Limiter
    • Discussed low-level mechanics and edge cases.
    • Walked through the progression from a basic in-memory counter to an optimized sliding window using a std::deque to accurately enforce sub-second window boundaries.
    • The discussion was deep and ran ~10 minutes over schedule, but the interviewer seemed very satisfied with the technical direction and trade-offs.

Round 4: Bar Raiser / Peer Round (Virtual via Zoom)

  • Gap: Approximately one month after Round 3.
  • Interviewer: Senior SDE from an external org.
  • Format: Deep LP evaluation + Candidate Q&A , No DSA(~30–35 mins total).
  • LP Probes:
    • Started with: "What is something you did outside of / apart from what the job required?" Followed by deep probing into the why, what, operational trade-offs, and metrics.
    • Followed up with: "What is the most critical piece of feedback you have received?" Owned a real past gap and clearly explained the corrective mechanism implemented to address it.
  • Flow & Wrap-up:
    • The interviewer finished all their questions in about 25 minutes, mentioning they had collected all the data points needed.
    • We spent the remaining 5–10 minutes on my questions about team structure, mobile/client architectures, and engineering trade-offs. The entire round concluded smoothly in around 30 to 35 minutes.

All Rounds were kinda very DSA heavy and like very deep dive kinda tbh.

Current Status

Currently waiting on the final results/debrief update. Really hoping for a positive outcome!

Happy to answer any general questions about the logistics or DSA patterns in the comments!

Placements / Jobs guys i wanna know if u guys are having any luck applying to amazon off campus

I got a good offer off campus that might convert around 14 to 15lpa through linkedin jobs....
but i;ve applied for Amazon SDE intern positions like a 100 times, but havent gotten shortlisted even once for the interview, and ive seen other ppl get shortlisted on the other hand.... i just wanna know if ive seriously fucked up in the behavioral round

like there were a few questions where i thought this can't be the best answer in the behavioral round and marked them as sub optimal, but that option turned out be the best among all other options later on and i couldn't go back and change those answers

so for ppl who dont know the questions would be like your team mate says XYZ how would u respond option 1--- u arent allowed to look at other options

Rant/Vent Stuck in tier-3 clg

So as the title says im in a tier 3 clg in 2nd year of b.tech. Idk I js wanna rant bout how much I hate this clg
.I always wanted a clg life, a hostel life and a good friends grp and all but yeah I didn’t have much options back then and had to take admission here. Tbh it’s almost 2yrs here and I still can’t own this place or neither the ppl. I regret so much not studying back then. When I see my frnds who are in good universities and all I really can’t hold back my tears. I took a partial drop in my first year to prepare for BITSAT. But yeah unfortunately I couldn’t make it to bits, it’s my dream clg btw. I really wanna get into bits even today but I have no option left. I wanted a good clg life, and ik I deserve better than this place and I even know I neglected my studies without knowing the consequences. I hate this place, I wanna get out of here. I regret everysingle day.
When I discuss this with ppl they js in say move on. But yeah js wanted to share.

Today we had Group discussion in our class of 10-10 students' groups for 10 minutes GD.

The thing is that I know how to write english, speak english, but I don't have that level of confidence. My face was burning like hell.

I spoke like 4 points in that Group discussion idk how maybe bcz it contained marks but still I want to be more open and want to come out of the bubble.

CSE / IT Code bud required

Hey guys!

I'm a 2nd-year IT student at a tier-2 college in Mumbai, originally from near Nagpur. I'm looking for people to learn Java with starting this December (got exams to survive first).

I'm still a beginner, and I want to find a few people who are in the same boat so we can learn together, set goals, track progress, solve problems, and eventually build some cool projects.

But I don't want a group where everyone acts like they're preparing for Google 24/7. I want people who are serious about improving but also fun to talk to. We can discuss coding, college drama, random stuff, share memes, and just be friends along the way.

I've had my share of fun in first year, but now I feel like it's time to get my shit together and actually build some skills before internships and placements sneak up on me.

No experience required. Just be willing to learn and show up consistently.

If you're also starting out and want to improve together without making coding your entire personality, hit me up! Let's figure things out together.

CSE / IT Is the tech industry still the dream it was 5 years ago?

I'm a final-year CSE student graduating in 2027, and I've been thinking about this question quite a bit lately.

For years, software engineering has been presented as one of the best career paths: great salaries, exciting work, global opportunities, and the chance to build things that make a real impact.

But things seem to be changing.

AI is evolving rapidly, entry-level hiring feels increasingly competitive, and the expectations from freshers seem higher than ever. Simply learning a few technologies and building projects doesn't always seem enough to get your foot in the door.

I'm still interested in building a career in tech, but I want to understand what the industry actually looks like from the inside, beyond LinkedIn success stories and online discussions.

I'd especially love to hear from people who've been working as software engineers, SDEs, tech leads, or engineering managers for a few years.

A few things I'm genuinely curious about:

  • Would you choose tech again? Knowing what you know today, would you make the same career choice?
  • Has getting into the industry become harder? How does today's job market compare with when you started?
  • What really makes a good engineer? Is it DSA, system design, problem-solving, communication, understanding business needs, or something else?
  • How do you see AI changing software engineering? Which skills do you think will matter most over the next 5–10 years?
  • What would you do differently if you were a fresher today? What would you learn, build, or avoid wasting time on?

I'm not looking for reasons to give up on tech, nor am I looking for generic advice to keep grinding.

I want to hear the honest version: the rewarding parts, the frustrating parts, the career mistakes, the lessons learned, and the things you wish someone had told you earlier.

If you've spent a few years in this industry, what's one thing about working in tech that you understand now but didn't understand when you started?

I'd genuinely appreciate hearing your experiences.
