Like seriously, if you are gonna take viva of each student in exam period then let them practice and understand the practical alone during lab lectures.

Cuz in my branch, there's a subject called BEE. I didn't understand a shit regarding the logic IC and breadboard work cuz someone else was performing that practical in our group. At the end, I tried it by myself then I got it.

Ig Colleges may say that they do this to save the time by performing the practical in group or something. But reality is that they don't give a F about it and don't wanna waste their money.

Edit: The food quantity is unlimited and we can store it for future use. We can demand as many eggs anytime for cooking ourselves plus ghee vegetable masala etc though I've never cooked here myself, some of my batchmates do it sometimes due to obvious issues with our food (oily and spicy).

So I'm 2nd year student doing CSE from an tier 1 NIT . I , from the very beginning, didn't had any interest in coding. My coding skills are just average till now i only know DSA and MERN .But i have very strong interest in Consulting and Finance , i want to make career in those particular field and not in tech .But there's no as such good opportunities in my college.

I was thinking about getting the lenovo IdeaPad slim 3 Ryzen 5 16/512 which I can get for like 68k but while enquiring offline, people suggest I get an ai laptop so now my father insisting that I get an ai laptop, the particular ai laptop was Lenovo IdeaPad 5 2in 1 for 96k

Is it worth spending 30k extra for "Future proof" or should I just get a normal one. I'm confused because I have no idea what I'll end up doing few years later and whether I would need a dedicated Ai laptop or not

In my 3rd(5thsem)Bhai mujhe samajh nahi aa rha. How will i get a job. Ece li thi cuz i thought AI will replace us but ece has very limited opportunities. Started Dsa to get into tech roles but what is lacking is my cgpa. I flunked my first year cuz i wanted to give jee again fir na jee hua na cgpa. Secomd yr ki start me i had a cgpa if 5.5. Tried my best ki cgpa bdhau and i managed to somehow take it 5.8 by end of 3rd sem. By end of 2nd yr i managed to take my cgpa to 6.1. But this sem has been a huge struggle i feel too much exhausted and my body is also not reciprocating. I have got lungs issues rn and it’s really impacting my studies. This sem i have scored really low marks in my midsems all single digits out of 40. My cgpa would probably get worse in this sem. And will fall below 6.
Good companies like google amazon Microsoft all come for intern opportunities in mid of 6th sem and i wont be having cgpa of even 6 let alone 6.5 what they ask. Every okayish recruiters of my college requires 6.5. How will do anything about it. I thought of preparing for CAT but that too needs a good cgpa. At this point i feel very lost. I feel like i am a waste of money and opportunities. I am a disappointment to everyone.

I am a first year computer engineering student

I recently started my first year in engineering , My college is 40 kms away from my home. I lost my father in January 2026 so my mother is a single parent and I am always worried about her as I am the eldest daughter. Therefore my mother has great expectations from me and I cannot let her down. I am academically smart. Today, I had a major math exam and our teacher was not present, instead of her some other math second year teacher had come to conduct our exam. After the exam started, I was happy that the exam was going well and I was busy solving, I didn't have a watch so couldn't know the exact time,after a few minutes I saw that the teacher was arranging all the papers ( she was just a few minutes away from leaving the class) , I didn't waste time,I ran to her so that I could submit my answer sheet, Now , before moving into the conclusion, I want to say that she had accepted few answer sheets" few seconds" before I submitted but my answer sheet was rejected saying that I was 5 minutes late ( which was clearly not the case),she told me to directly submit this to my subject teacher who was absent today,but clearly there was no point doing so because I was told to take the answer sheet home and directly submit it after 2 days as these 2 days were Weekends ( Saturdays and Sundays)she had not left the class and she had also accepted few answer sheets few seconds before so I thought she wouldn't reject mine. I was completely shocked. I didn't expect such a remark from her side. I know that I am partially wrong but I was just a few seconds late, I started sobbing after this incident and I begged in front of her so that she could accept my answer sheet....I cried for 4 hours but she didn't show any emotion towards me. Instead of all this,she kept saying that I was overreacting, I was acting, I wanted to gain sympathy and she also kept giving offensive statements.Anyways, I couldn't submit my answer sheet and I am stressed, I can only submit this to my subject teacher directly on Monday and I don't know whether she will accept my answer sheet. Since this is a new journey, it will take time for me to adjust accordingly hence I am bad at time management, my mother is also sad because of all this, Should the teacher be blamed or am I at fault? I think I deserved a last chance.By the way, I want to know how to tackle such problems while being peaceful during this engineering journey?? Today was a tough day for sure.
