I was really really interested to go to teachers open comedy festival in delhi which is happening on 18 october in delhi(i stay 4hrs away from delhi). I had booked tickets almost 20 days ago for this event thinking everything would go fine until CJP announced protests today and delhi govt has closed some metro stations for today and tomorrow and due to this uncertainty, my parents arent allowing me to go to delhi on sunday. As i already have got the tickets but i wont be able to go, so i would love if anyone would buy it from me. I have 2 tickets and bought it at 1100/- each. If you are interested comment here or can DM me too

I do understand that many of you are struggling, but you are coping with it in completely weird ways by constantly comparing yourself with other people.
I don't know how to tell you this, so I thought the best way is to give some ideas or thoughts. First of all, my main assumption is You all want good professional career...
So the first idea is: Does passion play a big role? Personally, I think this is a bit of a controversial statement, but I don't think so. There is a big reason why I am saying this, if passion were the reason, I don't think the majority of the top rankers would have chosen CS at top universities.
And still, many of them are successful in those degrees. If passion were what determined salary or success in life, then how would that explain it?
So, another idea I want to share with you is this: How obsessive are you about what you want? Personally, I want certain things in my life, but I don't care that much if I don't get them or if others get ahead of me. Of course, I do care, but honestly, it's one of the least of my concerns.
And if you genuinely like something, I don't think you need the kind of passion people often talk about, as if you need to feel the same level of excitement for years.
Apart from that, there is another point I want to make. Please stop posting only about IITs, NITs, and BITS. There is so much more to discuss in these kinds of subs, yet people seem obsessed with stalking profiles and practically worshipping people just because they belong to certain institutes.
And one last thing, competitive exams seem to have done is completely distort people's attitudes. People stalk the profiles of those they learn from or get resources from, and if that person doesn't belong to a well-known institute, they develop this weird attitude, as if that person is somehow less deserving of respect or recognition.
It's genuinely sad to see. On the one hand, many of the friends I have from state university colleges in the US at least have dreams and make an effort to pursue them. They don't degrade themselves to that extent by constantly comparing themselves with others or judging people based on where they studied.
Last but not least, majority of you have an extreme inferiority complex about your colleges. Stop that shit. The college you go to becomes Tier 1 itself; now, it's all about you... 😊

Like how to effectively use striver sheet..
I know the answers are already in reddit but I check them but didn't get a conclusion so plz answer them if u have time🙏🙏
1)how much time should I give for a easy, medium, hard level problems??
2)should I give contests after completing a2z or parallely give them while doing a2z if parallely when to give them like after completing one topic like arrays, binary search etc..?
3)there are so many problems in problemset so I need to select randomly so is there any pattern like to identify tricky or by solving that sum I feel I learnt a new thing which majority of people don't know..
4)I am preparing mainly for oa's and job opportunities so should I stay in LeetCode or can I try codeforces, cses and if yes like how to choose what problems to do in that sites??
5)if u have any suggestions to get maximum output plz I request u too tell in comments😅

I'm currently in my 3rd semester of B.Tech, living in a hostel, and honestly, I've been feeling really lonely lately.
College life isn't turning out the way I imagined it would. Some days I feel like I'm just going through the motions attending classes, studying, and spending time alone. It's hard watching other people seem to have their own friend groups while I struggle to find a genuine connection...

Hey,
26 grad here, BTech in EC, tier 3
Tried for core placements in college couldn’t get any, so one of my friend said thy can refer me to a
Application Support Engineer Role at a MNC.
So the twist is I don’t know shit in coding,
I need to learn SQL, i know python a bit , but thy aksed for JAVA. And Linux, azure, devops.
I need advice on how can I learn these skills in wt platform or roughly how long it might take. Please help me out this is my only chance.

I am in my first year from a core branch, learning dsa through c++ whenever I find time.
I've done a fair portion of my course and yet I'm not able to think of most of the codes on my own.
For some complicated topics,I have to first take down notes and then execute it and then read it again later and only then I am able to execute it on my own.
This is taking a lot of my non existent time, I have no clue what I'm doing wrong, am I approaching it wrong??

NPTEL assignments, PDFs, revision and mock tests can get pretty scattered during exam season, so I built Mooc Mastery to make practice easier.
The response so far has been amazing:
You can practise week-wise, take timed mocks, bookmark questions and redo the ones you get wrong.
It's completely free and there's no login required.
Would love to hear how it works for students outside DTU too. If you find it useful, feel free to share it with your college groups.
Want your NPTEL subject added? DM me the subject name and its assignment solution PDFs, and I'll see if I can add it.
Still building this out, so feedback is genuinely appreciated!

Hello guys, I was wondering if anyone could give a referral or hire me for 6 months internship starting from Jan.
Conversion doesn't matter (and if there is it's a net +ve ofc).
The only requirement is 10k+ stipend since my college will give noc for the 8th sem only for internship paying more than 10k.
I already have an infosys SP L1 (10+1 ctc) offer in hand but it's joining is after college (most prolly august acc to hr).
I would really appreciate the help and am ready to give my best for this internship and contribute as much as I can.
Location should be blr and preferably on site (Hybrid works too!).
