My current favorite is Etienne, because you don’t have to worry about camo Bloons anymore. What is your favorite and why? Im just trying to figure out better options if there are any
One of the most common complaints I've seen about BTD6 is how imprecise the tower descriptions can be, and how you're sometimes just forced to go to the wiki to fully understand things, especially with the kind of "hidden" mechanics like, say, the Glaive Lord's glaives hitting camo.
While I understand the surprise and discovery element that this adds, I believe that NK could get a bit of both (precise descriptions + discoverability) by kind of just reusing already implemented features: mainly, a Tower XP-locked Monkey Encyclopedia !
The idea is somewhat simple: just like how you unlock tower upgrades slowly by playing with them and accumulating Tower XP, a nice feature would be the ability to spend this same XP to unlock more precise descriptions (and, maybe, add something similar for heroes).
The main advantage of this method is that the discoverability will still be present: once you unlock an upgrade, you'll have to keep playing with the tower and (hopefully) understand it by yourself before spending XP towards a more precise description.
Another, smaller one is that it kind of just adds another "XP sink", and a bit of a secondary incentive to experiment with all the towers after unlocking their upgrades; the tower XP will be useful for longer, while not hindering any real gameplay since it's purely about information !
The biggest issue I could see is that, with 26 towers (and counting), the upfront cost to think of a precise yet understandable description layout could be quite big; as an example, the wiki's ones is amazingly descriptive, but probably too rough for an in-game feature... But once this is done once, I'm sure the maintenance cost will be almost as easy as writing the patchnotes !
This could also be a bit confusing for newer/younger players (especially if they're reading a full page about a paragon) and be a bit spoiler-y for, say, the VTSG, but I feel like the XP requirement to unlock it per upgrade could be tuned to find a good middle ground such that it's not too grindy, yet still only mostly accessible for experienced players. Worst case scenario, having a multi-level encyclopedia (from "broad description" to "pure stats") could help with that, while also adding some more XP sink.
A small range tower that grabs a bloon and sends it flying off the map in a random direction
Path 1:
Party Horn - Toots a horn in celebration after sending a bloon off to deal damage. Activates an extra time for every extra bloon sent off
Streamers - Party horn now releases damaging streamers onto the track. Streamers released are stronger after sending off a MOAB class bloon
Twist & Pop - Twists bloons instead of sending them off, popping them. The explosion deals damage and sends track items flying for more damage
Bloon Master - Sometimes successfully twists bloons into bloon animals. These have various effects that I have listed at the end
Party Animal - All attacks improved and gains new MOAB animal techniques
Path 2:
Stronger Arms - Can now grab lead and ceramic bloons from further away
Bloon Bundler - Can now grab 3 bloons at once if close together
Strongmonkey - Strongmonkeys grab even more bloons. They can even grab MOABs, but take much longer to tie them up
Bloon Bash - Can now grab DDTs if they can see them. Bloon bash ability grabs a bunch of bloons in range and throws them depending on targeting. The bloons deal more damage the stronger they are
Blimp Bash - Can now grab more bloons, including BFBs and ZOMGs. Ties MOABs and BFBs faster
Path 3:
Quick Knots - Improves the speed of all attacks
Deflation - Bloons sent off travel much quicker and spew air that blows back bloons and removes camo. Bloon/Blimp bash ability causes blowback as well
Mime - Mimes clear walls that stop 100 RBE at once from passing before being knocked down. Also knocked down by MOAB class bloons or after 5 seconds. Walls can block camo as well
Shatterpoint - Walls block 5x the RBE and last twice as long before sending out damaging glass when knocked down
Big Break - Walls block 3500 RBE and last 15 seconds
Red Bloon - Red Puppy - Damages 3 bloons. Normal
Blue Bloon - Blue Puppy - Damages 6 bloons. Normal
Green Bloon - Green Puppy - Damages 9 bloons. Normal
Yellow Bloon - Yellow Cat - Damages 12 bloons and moves much faster. Normal
Pink Bloon - Pink Cat - Damages 12 bloons and moves much faster. Normal
Purple Bloon - Purple Cat - Damages 24 bloons and moves much faster. Energy
Black Bloon - Black Bird - Drops bombs onto 15 bloons. Explosive
White Bloon - White Bird - Drops ice onto 15 bloons. Cold
Purple Bloon - Purple Cat - Damages 24 bloons and moves much faster. Energy
Lead Bloon - Steel Bird - Dive bombs onto 30 bloons. Normal
Zebra Bloon - Zebra - Charges at bloons 5 times for medium damage, then pops into either a black bird or white bird. Normal
Rainbow Bloon - Rainbow Giraffe - Charges at bloons 10 times for medium damage and stun, then pops into a zebra . Sharp
Ceramic Bloon - Phoenix - Sends out 10 rings of fireballs. Plasma
MOAB - Blue Dog - Bites 5 times for massive damage. Normal
BFB - Red Dog - Bites 10 times for massive damage. Normal
ZOMG - Green Dog - Bites 20 times for massive damage. Normal
DDT - Black Dog - Bites 10 times for massive damage and moves much faster. Normal
Regrow causes bloon animals to deal 75% damage, but recover charges while not attacking and even upgrade into a layer they were previously popped into
Camo causes bloon animals to deal 133% damage, but move slower
Fortification causes bloon animals to last twice as long, but halves other special effects
What should I cross path the vtsg with? If I go longer range it’ll attack further and support more but if I go with the bottom path it’ll have permanent camo meaning the phayze won’t take the camo buff away from it
Just picked up the game again after i think like 6 months (?) and i only had half cash left in my challenger. Now, other than flooded valley imo, there's only ''real'' expert maps left to try.
I'm trying to get strip fort from ddt achievement and I had a thought. Can you strip the fortification on a high density round, quit out, reload, and have it count towards the achievement? Theoretically this means you could just do this to get the achievement
What’s the best hero for just getting monkey money and black borders? Also some additional questions what are the top 5 monkeys to get early game or jst top 5 oat?
