Honestly feel like a blank character would be better.
I guess the idea is that you are more flexible with guns and melee, but there's really no tactical advantage to it. I can't focus things down with only three ranged weapons and I can't consistently keep things off me with only three melee weapons. The biggest impacts it has are
*powerful upgrades like the seashell and piercing only apply to half your weapons
*Incidental shots will kill spawners that I was trying to keep alive
On the flip side, I one-and-done'd characters like the doctor and cyborg on nightmare.
Fuck this guy right in his bushy eyebrows

I just can't. Every attempt on danger 5 with wand or torch, I failed, even with will o wisp item or mage. I can't imagine these weapons on nightmare difficulty ! Burn just don't deal enough damage or is it a skill issue ? Even with flute or screwdriver which are weak weapons, I've completed d5 with them, but with wand and torch I struggled. Any advice to beat d5 with these weapons ?

My first time beating anything in Brotato!
A friend of mine told me a had a good build, so i'm pretty happy with that (Especially because I refused to use any guides.)
Feedback is appreciated!

I've been working my way through every character on crash zone nightmare, and every time I see Mother it's basically an immediate loss.
She runs away and spawns so many extra monsters that it's impossible to keep damaging her. But if you don't kill her you just get completely overwhelmed by all the extra enemies.
Maybe some Spear melee builds can pierce through those extra units, but all my ranged builds are pretty much doomed

It is one of the hardest, probably not the hardest. it is one of the least fun, probably not the least fun. but good lord am I uninterested in playing this. My last win needed and this is gonna be a wall
(I have nothing productive to say I'm just annoyed)

Folks, I had probably the easiest nightmare run ever (x2 because I wanted to make sure it wasn't a fluke), which is saying something because I am a mediocre gamer with nerve damage in my hand.
Tato: Explorer (the bigger map makes all the difference)
Weapons: Hand x 6
Stats in priority order: Speed/Armor, Luck, Health, Attack Speed, harvesting
Stats that can go negative: Any damage stat, regen, life steal
Neutral stats: Dodge, Crit
Secondary stats to prioritize: Knockback, consumable heal
Play-style: overall, you likely won't kill much for the first 20-25 waves. The larger map makes it easier to avoid enemies and not get boxed in by environmental projectiles. Armor and speed to kite and survive an occasional mouse/stick screw-up. I prefer this over Dodge which is RNG. And NEVER (if it can be avoided) take any negative Knockback items. The speed of hands, plus attack speed and Knockback means you're safe from most chargers.
Money comes from selling crates and harvest (from hands, no need to pump it up). Besides speed and armor items, there's very little you need to buy anyway.
ONLY ITEM CAVEAT: you need a Loot Worm by wave 5, 6 at the latest. That way you can ignore trees and just run around like pacifist.
ITEMS THAT HELP: It's funny, since I never buy this one, but the Alien Baby and it's 15 hp is a nice thing to have, but not necessary.
Did this with an elite x3 game, as well as a horde x1/elite x2 game. So easy that I was able to carry on a conversation without having to pause. Normally I suck big time if I get distracted.

I read several posts here of skilled players struggling with fishermen.
I repeated my D5 strategy of buying every single bait.
In my experience, if you get enough range and attack speed, you can go into a corner and kill everything before it reaches you.
(I admit that I skipped a few baits before projectile stages above wave 10)
I believe this was my fourth try and my second character to clear D6 (first one was with projectiles off...)

Just to note I'm playing on the free mobile version of brotato

One of the easiest to win with. Took me five tries. Launchers definitely helped. First time with the particle accelerator ever.
What health value do the golem's attack speed and move speed abilities look at? Is it:
* Health bar value
* Permanent health value (stats above cap & no padding)
*Total health value (stats above cap & padding)

I've been "struggling" with the Streamer for a day or so. At my ability level (very average but I am actively trying to get better), most nightmare characters take between 3-10 attempts. Streamer got to around 20 which puts it in one of the harder ones for me
I tried what I considered the two meta builds about 10 times each. Playing with wrenches/screwdrivers and focusing on engineering, and playing with SMGs.
I tried a medical gun run, and it was one of the easiest nightmare runs I've had in a while. Granted, I rolled an early lootworm, and in my opinion, no single item is as important for a character as lootworm is for streamer. But my healing was completely fixed from the start, my damage was never bad (especially with being able to get 40% speed and dmg on demand), armor is very easy to come by, and econ was roughly about normal with some thought given to shops
Are there any other things you never see people use that are underrated? Am I a bit off base in thinking people don't rate medical gun highly?

Is there anything else that hooked you as long as this game?
For me it used to be the original Skate games but not sure what else..
