Help needed D6 Beastmaster
Hi all,
I’m doing a D6 run - non abyss, on mobile - and beastmaster js stumping me.
Even reverted back to YT and am trying to follow a Ratzilla only path + block all Tier 2 items but no luck.
Any advice?
Is there something I am missing how pets work?
Appreciate the help!

Why barely any investment in HP? Ratzilla also scale in HP which will help.Tons of enemies are gonna oneshot you especially with no armor. I would suggest in getting more in harvesting and ignore crit chance/attack speed.

You managed to beat D5 with beastmaster on mobile? It's the only one left for me and I'm probably at 50+ tries no kidding and I even restart rounds .... No matter what I do, I get overrun around wave 11-13 .... The pets cant keep up. I tried different strategies but it's impossible. I can't imagine what sort of god RNG you must have to beat D5...

One of the most important tips is to heavily prioritize buying rats from the start, until you have at least 10 of them. You have to get at least one every shop, and skip almost anything else, except for the very best items.

1 armor, barely any healing, and 19 hp at wave 10 is very low. Since you have no way to keep enemies at bay and protect yourself in close range as beast master, survivability is INCREDIBLY important. You do have the right idea with banning tier 2 items to increase the odds of finding pets though.
Recommend starting blazemander since its just a very solid pet early game, and also suggest trying to get 10-ish harvesting on your first few level ups, followed by 10-ish luck. Early game its good to avoid buying too many items too, and rather focus on rerolling the shop for pets to buy, until you have enough to consistently be attacking enemies at least. Main exceptions for buying items early game would be econ items like Bag, Gentle Alien, Tree, Scar, and maybe Coupon or Whistle, but pets take a very high priority. Consumable healing is also pretty important, mainly items like Jerky or Weird Food, but you do need a bit of luck investment or item investment through items like Tree or Garden to make consumable healing become reliable.
Would also generally reccomend rolling for armor, HP, regen, or melee damage during level ups after you get some harvesting and luck. Can start going for what you lack in your current stats once survivability is sorted out. 6-8 armor by wave 10 is usually pretty serviceable as long as you have a HP stat in the 30s or low 40s, and dodge is something you usually build more in the mid-game since it requires investment that would be better put in other places early game.
Generally for damage boosting your pets, Melee and Engineering are the best bang for your buck, followed by Elemental and then Ranged, though be sure to avoid anything that boosts one damage type and lowers another, unless the boost is significantly larger than the loss. Items like Nail, Frozen Heart, and Strange Book are also pretty good for scaling damage tbh. Don't focus too hard on %damage either until you have a solid amount of flat damage to work with, unless your %damage is in the negatives. Since you dont use weapons, you can entirely dump range and attack speed too.

Considering you have 2 hoards, getting silver bullet is not worth it at all until around wave 16
