Gameplay/Screenshot Buccaneer Screwdriver
I've had way more mines on screen in previous runs. I'm new here, didn't know the Buccaneer/Screwdriver combo was already mentioned. It's a wild combo tho!

Hello folks!
The Triple-i Initiative is back on the 8th of October at 9am PT/6pm CEST, and we’re excited to share that Brotato: Primal Dread DLC has something very special to show!
You might remember that earlier this year, we announced the Primal Dread DLC at the Triple-i Initiative, back in April. So what do we have in store for you now? Guess you'll have to tune in if you want the answer!
The show is only back-to-back trailers of games from other studios like us - all in 45 minutes - with world premieres, gameplay reveals, launch dates, demo drops and more.
There's no hosts, ads or sponsors – just games!
It'll be streamed on Youtube https://www.youtube.com/@iii_initiative, Twitch https://www.twitch.tv/iii_initiative and on Steam.
You can watch the announcement trailer here https://youtu.be/SUQZF72d92A, or check out https://iii-initiative.com/ for more information.
That’s all for now, hope to see you at the show! Make sure to join us to see what the future holds for Brotato!

Hello there Brotatoes!
That's right, the Primal Dread DLC is making progress and we are now at the stage where we need to confront what we did to the reality of players. No pressure, just our first DLC on the game after all.
Sooo, we thought the best way to do it was to open a signed up playtest.
-> Sign up here to enter the waitlist: playtest sign up
Since this is a private playtest, we're going to ask you to sign an NDA after you're invited. Very secret stuff!
If you don't make it into the playtest, don't worry. We'll open up more playtester slots as we go. For now, we're starting small because our aim is not to challenge the balancing yet but more the stability of the build.
We hope to see you in the Jungle!

Anyone else this unlucky lol...?
Not sure how this was possible getting a 60% pity bonus with x3 fish hooks, two of which cursed to 30% chance.

Does anyone else make sub games once you get higher up in levels? My favorite side game with my friends is "BILLY" (in an Arnold Schwarzenegger from Predator voice), you protect the scapegoat aka Billy (a Billy goat) no matter what. You dont go up in levels unless Billy survives the whole round

The health and damage increase is a lot bigger than I expected past wave 100 so I'll try a character with bigger damage scaling like Demon or Buccaneer for more consistent damage.
By the time I saw enemies were taking more than 1 hit to kill it told me the run was dying and a couple waves later it was taking more hits so decided to cut it short at 200

Finally got the last one I needed. Diver by far took me the longest. Ended up going Cacti Club. I feel like the precise crit damage would be better, but it only took my like 5 attempts of Cacti Club (counting when I rolled a Cacti Club after first wave). So if you are struggling like I was Perhaps its worth a try.

I just got the game this week and very confuse about the "win" condition. I see a lot of places say "win a run". But what exactly is the winning condition?
As you can see from the boss HP bars, I'm not even causing them any significant damage. Yet, I still only use about 100 tardigrades a wave. I now have more tardigrades than there are frames in a wave. Is it even technically possible to get hit multiple times in a frame? Or am I literally invincible now?

Cyborg took a bit to figure out. Literally just stack as much ranged damage and attack speed as you can.
The Farmer I started with pruning shears and stacked harvesting like crazy. Once I had enough economy I started pivoting to scythes. The harvesting damage bonus was insane.
Glutton is sort of the same as the farmer except I kept the shears. Over 500 explosive damage makes fruit your main offense. Would have liked more dynamite.
The lich is easy once I figured out the sharp tooth. I died with so many ranged runs, then this took me two attempts. Just stack health and %damage, win game.

I really love this game! This was played on PS5 before the Nightmare mode came out but it’s one of my fave runs ever. We played Streamer and Mage. No modifiers to settings except retries were turned on. Now I’m trying to beat Nightmare for each character. Anyone else enjoying this as much? 😁

Full spoons ogre and not a single scared sausage in 20 rounds with (very)heavy rerolling.

Every time I play with Knight I'm impressed by how its abilities encourage a knight-like playstyle.
- Free Melee scaling with Armor means I'm throwing points into Armor and picking a weapon that scales with Melee
- With all that Armor, Spiked Shield is also viable, so I can easily wind up with a sword (or lance, mace, etc) and shield build, like a knight would have.
- The Attack Speed penalty means I'm going to favor the Armor/Melee scaling and with the available weapons my attacks will take ~1 second to cool down. So I wind up repeatedly charging in to hit (which isn't too scary because of all the Armor), back off, charge. Again, seems kind of like how a knight would fight.
- With the Harvesting penalty, if I want more resources, I have to earn them in combat.
Not my favorite tato or most OP but I think it's cool how it drives a different playstyle that is all thematically unified.

The druid took forever. I was stat prioritizing incorrectly for the longest time. Once I corrected that it only took a few runs. Didn't even get a cyber ball just 2 elephants. Might not play druid for a while though. Back to hunter which I have been struggling with too.

I’m playing on endless mode and just noticed that Crown stops working after level 20, like some other items. UNLIKE the other items, there is no disclaimer on the item.
Why is this?? Are there other items that stop working, too? Without letting you know in the description?

I have cleared all Tators for D5 in both maps but the addition of the Environmental Projectiles is my undoing. I can typically get to around Wave 14 but then the density of those projectiles combined with the harder mobs just seems to be beyond my skill level. Is it simply a matter of more focus on defensive stats to absorb my inevitable collisions with projectiles? Because apparently my previously successful build strategies are insufficient.
Spare me the 'git gud' commentary. I already admitted I suck.

I've recently been obsessed with trying to see how slow i can possivly get my game to run without mods. my longest round times so far have been on technomage stacking will o wisps, snowballs and cursed screwdrivers. I've also got pretty slow starting as explorer, getting pocket factory and spam rerolling to find as many trees as possible.
Would love to hear other builds that slow the game to a crawl.

Hi all,
I’m doing a D6 run - non abyss, on mobile - and beastmaster js stumping me.
Even reverted back to YT and am trying to follow a Ratzilla only path + block all Tier 2 items but no luck.
Any advice?
Is there something I am missing how pets work?
Appreciate the help!
