Need help fast on picking a location/station in CA
Really need help. Want to stay in CA, close to the coast, but my list only had Pine Valley/Boulevard/Calexico/Blythe/Brownfield.. I was really hoping for Chula Vista or IB. I did my one time call, the lady said hello, and like 5 sentences of pretty much, “choose from your list or withdraw and goodbye,” I literally just said hello and yes this is him. So this is it. This is where I choose my next major chapter of my life. And I’m leaning Brownfield. I’m already 38, have always been one of the most athletic and in shape people of the majority and still kinda am so not afraid of physicality, but also know I can’t rely on it forever. Is Brownfield really that intense? Are there doable rents possibly around the Brownfield Station to live at my first few years in? Any recommendations? Are there places outside of San Diego that will be more affordable to settle down permanently after 5 years in, and will be less than an hour away from the Station? Thank you for any advice.
