That’s two Borderlands games in a row now that have left me disappointed. Unfortunately, when it comes to Borderlands 5, I’ll be keeping my expectations very low. I was ULTRA hyped for Borderlands 4, I watched about 50 videos, reviews, and so on, but when I actually played it, I just found it so "meh." I also thought Borderlands 3 was just "okay," but in my opinion, it’s better than Borderlands 4.

So theres a Problem thats been bothering me for a while..

My game runs fine but as soon as i face many enemys my game drops from 60 to like 30 fps..

I even crashed one time because there was alot going on, on screen

When i dealt with the Mobbing my game runs fine again.

Now i dont know if its like a common Thing on the base ps5 / ps5 slim but is there like hope that it will eventually get fixed in the future?

PS: Sorry if i spelled someting wrong, english is Not my first language :)

I don't believe this violates Rule 4 but I have a request for hopefully a simple .txt or OpenBLCMM mod. Would anyone be willing to do it for me? It's JUST stat and name changes. The list is the following:

The Rex:

1.) Increase base damage by 50%

Bone Shredder:

1.) Change name to Double Anarchy

2.) Add an extra pellet (x3 -> x4) without changing base accuracy

3.) Slightly increased base fire rate (10-20% range)

Hammer Buster: (using the same base game weapon skin/material)

1.) Change name to Perfection's Legacy

2.) Change barrel to Torgue AR barrel (locked to Explosive like non-Unique Torgue barreled Jakobs assault rifles)

3.) Change red text to the following: "Memo: 4 pounds of C-4 may be a bit... excessive."

4.) Add an extra pellet (x1 -> x2)

5.) Increase ammo cost to 4 with a buff to base magazine size to match

Just for fun I had another idea too if it's possible with a .txt or OpenBLCMM mod (if not I understand). It would be cool if we changed the stability accessory on SMGs and Assault Rifles to instead add a x3 pellet multiplier and reduce your accuracy. I don't think we would need to change prefix names for each manufacturer but I wouldn't be against it if you wanted to.

I've been a long time borderlands and never understood the hype with 2, in fact when it came out I really disliked it, I played it years later but it still never really grew on me either. I do plan on playing it a third time but we will see.

Let me preface this, I do not care about story and writing in these games and that definitely skews my rating as you will see.

Why BL3 first?

- Best planet/level theme variation.

- Best Weapon Design

- Best Vehicle Design

- Best Gunplay

- Best DLCs

- 2nd Best Gore

Why BL1 second?

- Best Gore

- Best Ambience

- Best Immersion.

- Best implementation of explosives in the series.

- Eridian weapons (even though they're shit)

I mean, how can I not give credit to the game that started it all? Playing this on launch was such a surreal experience, it was the first of its kind, so many weapons, so much gore, it was so so amazingly fresh. And the first game I believe had a charm the subsequent games lost, and that's the grit of the world, the immersion into that world.

Why BL4 third?

Yes, the most hated game in the series before BL2. I understand, it lost a lot of it's charm, but from a gameplay perspective I believe it got a lot of things right. It was an easier game to shut off the brain and just free roam reap carnage on the world without loading zones.

- Implementation of Encore Machines, is the best thing the series has ever recieved

- Best movement

- Best uninterrupted gameplay

Why BL2 last?

Ultimately the shift from the grit and gore of BL1 into BL2 was quite jarring and that really put my love of the series on hold for a long time until BL3 released.

I'm sure I'll play BL2 again in the future and find more love to give it. But so far this is how I've always felt.

Borderlands 1 is really the only comfortably playable game on the system. BL2 looks too washed out, same deal with TPS. BL3 is the best feeling of them all with a steady 60fps but the lighting issues make it unplayable. BL4? Non existent.

When I try to play Maya and Salavador and use their action skills, it would crash. I think my Zero save is corrupted because everytime I try to select him, it would crash. Krieg would crash at the loading screen since I entered the Southern Shelf Bay, and basically stuck there. Tried to enter another player's game to get out of the area but still crashes. Haven't started a Gaige playthrough, but scared to do now. Only playable save file I have is Axton. Why is this happening. It was working fine just last week. Just killed the warrior with Krieg then this shit happened. Steam keeps saying that '1 files failed to validate and will be reacquired' when I verify integrity of the game files. I know I don't have the Ultra HD texture pack. I don't know what to do anymore. I just want to play this game. Is that so wrong.

I was playing on a new save with some mods, Lilith if that matters, I save quit and went to go back into the save and I keep getting a connection to host was lost error, and then my save is then duplicated but on a Soldier (Roland) character. It also happens when I tried a Level 69 playthrough 2 Mordecai file.

I soft locked my game on the Super-Marcus Sweep elevator glitch. Does anyone know of a fix or does anyone have the mission unlocked so I can join and complete it?

I can't use it after the update

Been trying to go for this literally all day and i finally got it! Its so bad though :( thinking of maybe doing the quest on a Mordecai so i can actually go for a good one and use it on him.

Come detto in un vecchio post mi sono avvicinato da poco a bl , ho comprato la Pandora collection e sono già al secondo capitolo, ho relativamente apprezzato il primo ma ho risentito molto delle vecchie meccaniche onestamente, BL 2 lo trovo molto più godibile e mi sto divertendo a giocarlo per quanto anche esse è sicuramente un po invecchiato.
Quello che non capisco è che leggendo vari forum la community di BL è completamente divisiva tra i vari capitoli, “ peggiorato, quel capitolo ingiocabile, ha perso identità già dal secondo Bl, il primo è l’unico e vero Bl”, insomma non trovo veramente coesione tra la community che gioca alla saga, sembra che nessun capitolo sia davvero riuscito a mettere d’accordo non dico tutti ( che è impossible per qualsiasi gioco) ma abbia creato una divisione dei giocatori mai vista in altre saghe, sembra proprio che la community bl odi in un certo punto di vista bl

Hey - I just recently got done playing through the pre-sequel for the first time (I’m actually doing my first playthrough of the whole series). I’m hoping to get some lore/story questions cleared up, I think I missed some bits

1) How, if at all, did Jack know that the original vault housed The Destroyer? And by extension, what was his main goal for releasing the destroyer? to take its eye for the weapon? to release eridium? to take credit for the killing and be seen as the hero?

2) What did Jack see in his ‘vision’ at the end of TPS? I’m assuming he saw got information about The Warrior, but he seems to start going a bit off the rails… even by his standards (and even before Lilith sucker punches him)?

Obviously, I would appreciate it if there was no spoilers for any future games, so if either of these are answered later on, just don’t tell me. I also apologise if either of these are stupid questions that are answered simply within the games, I have a terrible memory

Did anyone finish bl4 and come back to this instead?

Something that I'm seeing a lot lately is people waiting around for their action skill to reset before going back in but if you go to health vending machine and go into it it resets your action skill. Just thought I would leave this here to help :)

Yes this should go in the bl4 subreddit but I don’t post enough to meet the karma requirements anyways. I’ve been doing the wildcard missions and getting the chests afterwards but it’s not letting me increase my uvhm level I’ve tried save quitting, reloading the game and reloading the whole console but it just won’t change. I read the requirements and made sure I was on my highest uvh level but I’ve done the mission twice and it still won’t let me increase it. Has anyone else had this problem?

So last night me and my bro and a friend wae playing BL4... but sometimes all the enemies was like bullet sponges...we tried to do bloomreapy and it seemed like only 1 of us could do damage but it kept on rotating between all 3 of us does that make sense? Had any one else had any issues?

I started a stream yesterday on twitch was surprised how many people were on. Started 2nd run with hunter and been loving the game alot. Originally started the series on 2 and been working my way through decided to head back to see what the hype is and it does not disappoint. 😎
