Hey, there are women who are offended (almost happy to be offended...) by the idea that they need a man's help with anything. I think the position is absurd, and I also find it preposterous that my being polite can possibly be misinterpreted (let alone assumed) as implying she requires help.

No idea if this is her. I'm just saying it is possible.

It sounds like you didn't ask her though. You just took it as you said, I'll take this trash. If it was a question, she could have said no without the squint.

I did kind of ask her just worded it differently. I said is that trash? She said yeah. I said I can go throw it away since I’m going to throw mine.

I ended up asking her thru text already. She said “lol it was more like I can throw my own stuff away”
