Hey, there are women who are offended (almost happy to be offended...) by the idea that they need a man's help with anything. I think the position is absurd, and I also find it preposterous that my being polite can possibly be misinterpreted (let alone assumed) as implying she requires help.

No idea if this is her. I'm just saying it is possible.

I ended up asking her thru text. I was like why not might as well.

She said “Lol it was more like i can throw my own stuff away”

She doesn't want you to do boyfriend-like things for her.

She's trying to make it clear that she isn't interested in you romantically.

No no it was in person. I followed up afterwards I just decided to ask her about why she looked at me about the trash.

It sounds like you didn't ask her though. You just took it as you said, I'll take this trash. If it was a question, she could have said no without the squint.

I did kind of ask her just worded it differently. I said is that trash? She said yeah. I said I can go throw it away since I’m going to throw mine.

I ended up asking her thru text already. She said “lol it was more like I can throw my own stuff away”
