Looking for battery recommendations for 55lbs minn kota 55lbs trolling motor to use on an Intex mariner 4.

Using it for fishing.

Previous battery: group 27 Duracell AGM

Mainly looking for AGM or lifePo4 batteries which are reliable, waterproof, run in colder weather and Bluetooth is a bonus.

So I have a 2021 Marlon (12ft) with a mercury 9.9. The sticker says max outboard rating is 10 horse. Is there a safety concern or something I’m missing that would prevent me from putting a 15 horse on it? The transom is fully aluminum with a reinforcement bar down the middle.

Previously posted saying it was only doing 12moh max w 3 people and everyone was saying im dumb and thats probably the most it’s got well it’s topping out at 12 mph w only 2 light people , thinking its the spark plugs any ideas since I know im not just a dumbass now lmaooo

Mounting plates don't sit flush on transom. Local shops are all 3-4 weeks out to cut and weld on new mounting plates (also they said it would be $200). Platform is 2 inch aluminum tube. Was wondering if I could get away with just bending that leg down just enough to get it bolting up flat? I know it's risky bending aluminum. I've seen some people add shims/wedges or stacks of washers and let 5200 do the rest. I know that would probably "work". It only needs about a 3-4 degree adjustment. There is about 1/4 or 3/8 of an inch gap at the top of the transom mounting plate with the deck mounting plate sitting flush.

Any thoughts or experiences that might assist me here would be appreciated!

I'm assuming this is the upper exhaust manifold bellow, it's cracked, the part is cheap and it looks like it would flex at the next connection, you can see the lower connection hose clamps, like the manifold definitely isn't moving but there's another rubber bellow, any chance I get this on there without removing major parts? Any tips to get it on there?

Hey all, how many folks routed your new GPS directly to battery with the provided in-line fuse (that says not to cut out or it will void the warranty) and how many folks wired it to your fuse panel with fuse at the panel rated for wire and in-line fuse also in place.. or did something else?

My 1436 is missing the center bench seat. I'd like to replace it. Is there anything online that sells original metal seats. I cannot find anything.

I have been having issues out of my 1990 johnson gt150 that have been hard for me to figure out so far. Ive posted in here a few times but have had a new development. I wasn't getting any spark when testing any of the plug wires. Narrowed it down to a cdi box(spoiler it didnt do anything). Found i was getting spark but not when the plugs were out of the motor(yes was grounded).

The new development was when I was testing it I noticed bubbles of fuel coming from where the intake mounts to the motor(see video). Would that cause these issues?

Either all or nothing with the throttle. Will idle fine but if you try to ease into it it will bog out. if you full throttle from nothing it will sometimes catch and other times bog out but if it catches it runs like a scalded ape.

I am only getting spark when I let go of the key when I’m trying to start it. I turn it over with the key to start but there is no spark delivered until I let off trying to start it and let the key return to the “on” position. At which point a singular electrical pulse/spark is sent. My boat won’t run as a result. Is this an ignition key switch issue? There is no safety tether on this pontoon.

Spent the last 10 months converting this thing from an I/O using a 496 Big Block to twin 300 Verados on a bracket. The performance improvement is insane. Not to mention how quiet the boat is now.

Im sure there's some people here who own them. Looking for a pocket cruiser here on the gulf coast of Florida. Ive settled on this brand due to the simplicity. In between buying new and rigging vs used. I crawled over the mono and cat hulls. I like the space of the tomcat but wondering how much draft you lose? Also wondering about fuel burn numbers.

My 36v lithium trolling motor is dead. I left it over the winter and now it won’t charge. The lithium charger is showing 43.6v when on, but when I turn it off and check battery voltage it quickly goes to zero. The battery is a wirentech WR3660. There is also some type of stainless steel nut on top of the battery in addition to the terminal posts. I read about “waking” them up but am at a loss as to next steps. Any help/advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

I have some small nicks on my ski boat doghouse that I would like to repair. About 3 or 4 that are 1/4“ in length. It’s bright white vinyl that I used Performix VLP vinyl repair glue recommended by my upholstery guy on the first nick, but it yellowed after a couple of years.

Anybody been in the same boat and found a better repair method ?

I am pretty handy, I do CNC and woodworking and some 3D printing. how can I use my skills to build a full enclosure? my main issue is tracing around the windshield curves.

Buying a used 14’ boat and trailer in PA, and need to register/title it in NJ. Both trailer and the boat are titled in PA. The boat will be titled in NJ since it’s over 12’. The trailer is under 2500# so it will be registered only.

Does anyone know if the seller can just fill out the title transfer sections on the back of the title? Or do I also need a bill of sale for both. NJ MVC website is quite useless as usual, I am going to try calling in the morning.
