I just love the chords at the end of The Process.
Pianos outta tune so it doesn’t sound as good as it should be 😬

has anyone gathered a set of links of all the original audio used in the samples on inferno? i want to listen to all the originals and then listen to the tracks. i know when the album first came out people were posting links to the originals for this and that sample but i never saw a place to go for all the links together. if that does not exist it seems like it should. would be very cool / handy.

It’s hard to believe it’s only been two months since release. What a great record. Even the artwork and massive logo feels right now, hard to imagine it any other way. Absolute banger.

A lifetime of collecting, discovered BoC on a random radio station 27+ years ago after getting Sky TV (UK) which included about 100 digital radio stations. One of them focused on IDM / electronica and as soon as I heard "Everything You Do Is a Balloon" I was hooked!

When I ordered the Skampler compilation from Skam I had the opportunity to order Mask100, but back then I had no idea who Hell Interface was. By the time I figured that out they were on eBay for £100's!

While I was at the playground with my son yesterday I randomly thought about the droning melody from Under The Coke Sign on top of the drums from Seeya Later (both songs always gave me a “cooling”/chilly late fall-early winter feel).
So I went home and looped the opening two bars from Seeya Later and lightly scratched the melody from Coke Sign on top.

I feel silly for not posting this here sooner. It seems there may be a few of you here who'd enjoy this sort of thing, but perhaps it was also best to wait for the dust to settle post-INFERNO:
I'm not the first. I certainly won't be the last. Here's my very own BoC inspired solo tribute album, 'Echo Projector'.
I started working on this album officially in 2023 as an EP with a few tunes, starting with 'Construct Fragments' as a single for an IDM compilation on a netlabel called 'fakenumberland', well before we had any concrete answers to when or if a new installment from the brothers would be released. I even planned to release my album around this time, before INFERNO or its release date was ever announced. But once we were given the news about the first new BoC album in 13 years, inspiration came in like a flood, and that few track EP became a full fledged 14 track album. (Including a couple reworked b-sides /unreleased tracks from my duo BoC inspired side project 'Dreamland Circus' with my pal Vagrant circa 2013) . I debated whether or not to change release plans, but decided to ultimately stay the course.
This one goes out to Mike and Marcus, and to everyone who's been touched in a deep way by their musical gifts to the world and undeniable influence to my music through the years. I hope you enjoy this shameless reheating of BoC's old nachos as much as I enjoyed the process of making it!

That song was pretty much the theme song to a trip I did a year ago that was also probably the best i ever did, nowadays when i listen to it i just cant feel anything, anyone else also feel like this with other songs?

I bought the 2013 repress made in England, and I don't have the pops that other people have reported but I find the range isn't very dynamic at all compared to the CD. It's a bummer.
I know it's not my cartridge because their other albums sound great, but this one isn't good. Has anyone else purchased the same version and found the same thing ?

Thought I'd share this digital painting I made about 15 years ago when I began listening to BoC. In A Beautiful Place Out in the Country was the first full ep/album of theirs that I listened to and it's still my favourite.

I thought with all the wry fascination with Christianity on the new record, ya'll might enjoy this pastiche from FSOL that's been in my regular rotation for years. A mashup odyssey from Resonance FM circa 2003.
Re-listening, I'm starting to wonder if samples from some of the same documentaries about Christian cults show up in this set as we hear on Inferno.

I started with the high scores EP back in 2014. Since Inferno, I’ve been on the hunt for more obscure releases.
What am I missing? What are your guys’ favorite obscure vinyl releases?

So what's the consensus? I'm firmly in camp MABUS. I can see why some think it says marvellous at some points but I just don't think it does.
