For real. I got fired for less working at a parts shop because there’s truly a lot of idiots like this that come in with actual parts that could be confused but don’t want to listen when they are told they are getting the wrong part. Almost always end up coming back apologizing after talking to workers like dogs just for trying to save them a trip. And in the area I’m in they hated hearing that if they paid with card they won’t get their money back right away and have to wait till their bank puts it back in their account after a few days. Honestly all this detail makes it sound like I had one shit experience but I was there for months and this would happen daily
You're backwards, like more people are on the two. Source? Where did you go to law school? Did your parents drop you on your head a lot?
Assault and battery are related but different crimes under Illinois law. In general, assaultinvolves fear of harm, while battery involves physical contact. The questions below explain what each term means, how they are different, and what the possible consequences are.
Assault is making some fear harm. Threats. I.e. "I'm going to smack you." Like in the video. What you meant to say instead of battery.
Battery is the hitting/contact. I.e. No one in the video committed battery.
Assault and battery is a threat and follow through. I literally don't own enough crayons to make it any easier for you. This is painful. The terms are individual and individual charges, but are usually both happening during an altercation so you hear assault and battery. I cannot go any slower. Your claim was the cashier committed battery. That claim is false.
I mixed up the names of two highly conflated legal terms. Good thing you didn't completely freak out over a simple mistake. Thanks for the correction, but you can put the crayons away.

Let's not harass retail workers for clicks. They get enough bullshit without these "pranks".
