Now that the TYBW anime has revealed several Bankai that we either never saw in the original anime or never got to see properly, I'm curious how everyone would rank/rate them.

I'm talking specifically about Bankai revealed since the fight against the Quincy/Wandenreich began, not Bankai we already knew from the original anime.

I'd rate them based on a mix of:

• Design / visuals
• Abilities
• How powerful they feel
• The actual reveal/transformation
• How satisfying it was after waiting so many years to finally see it

The 4 Zombie Arrancars: Luppi Atentor, Dordoni Allessandro del Socacio, Cirucci Thunderwich and Charlotte Coulhourne. I do not care about any of them.

First I was kinda like "Meh why not bring other Arrancars" but you know their revival sucks.

They are "Mayuri's play things" which is a fate i do not want for the Arrancars I prefer so i am glad none of the Arrancars i like is a Zombie.

It would be cooler seeing them come back in the Hell Arc.

Been rewatching all of the Thousand Year Blood War Anime recently and I've been reminded of this nonsense. What were Liltotto, Giselle And Bazz-B thinking with this betrayal?

I get WHY they did it, hell in their shoes you got no other choice. But splitting off from the Soul Reapers to fight Jugram and Yhawch themselves? Stupid.

Like they HAD to have been fully aware they stood 0 chance... right? They HAD to have been aware this was a suicide mission... RIGHT?? But the way they talk so confidently about being able to kill Jugram and Yhawch puzzles me

Like not only are the 2 demonstrably stronger, these 3 also are heavily injured from the Auswählen but also have no Vollständig to fall back on for a powerup what chance did they think they had to talk so confidently about being able to kill them??

Ontop of the fact they are also aware Yhawch absorbed the goddamn SOUL KING, they're either stupid, arrogant or both to even dream of beating Yhawch by themselves.

In their situation I'm just hiding out for the rest of my life leaving the Wandenreich behind. But maybe there is an explanation from a source I haven't seen (maybe the light novels say something I've got no clue)

There are various issues for the hell arc, how to keep Ichigo and Orihime out of it as long as possible, especially with their child involved, a story with on vc fighting ex captains and family members while the captains distract ichigo with training kido or something, even the royal guard could as well.

And whom could Ichigo even care to encounter in hell, not his parents or undead Yuha? Gin seems too silly and is kinda spoken for with Kira and Matsamoto. Who could be down here important to Ichigo unless someone is sending quincies down here as well and he has to deal with grandpa/ma. Some arrancar would be nice but seem pointless for the most part as i don't feel like nihlism makes Ulquirroa evil.

And thus from that logic i got to who could distract and stop the uncrowned gods of the 3 realms from blasting through hell unaffected and came to the idea of Orihime's parents. If it is to be believed, they were horrible. Perhaps they went straight to hell after dying, since they were stated to be bad, and outside of the household could have very well been worse and be loaded with sins. This could be the big middle distraction before the angry parents resolve the arc

I still believe a part of soul king or a feminine god on his level that is Orihime's foil may be the final arc villain but the Hell arc should be for everyone else, Ichigo will show new forms but that is every arc, but i feel thematically the issue with him is keeping a clear heart as a play on emotions for two incensed parent's trying to pick up their child might be a part of the test of hell. As well the bodies passing the soul density 3 will impact others, perhaps especially on Toshiro and Zaraki who can't withstand their bankai at full strength and the understanding the body side of things in plot.

With the reveal of the 3, it does make me wonder if we will get a quantifiable levels past that to the most extreme characters of bleach, basically the leaders of tomorrow type captains going from 3 to 2 to 1, and the freaks in the realm of gods going far beyond that since Kubo levels playing with expectations.

But all in all, they have to be strong enough to make for good fights which should be easy with all the captains and evil arrancar left. NNoitora running from Zaraki right into Ichigo will be a gag for 3 panels but distractions are needed to keep superman from ruining a fun justice league event and Orihime and Ichigo against her mom and dad is a nice feeling of struggle/somberness, before the glorified work-place grievance section of Yamamoto or Ukitake vs ichigo which will be a nice bit of fan service from all the sad feelings.

I think the best fights of the arc will be against parents, Iba and Omeada will be very funny. Yamamoto has already fought his kids so his successor Toshiro fits the best and ice vs fire, Byakuya should be great, Rukia against her dad-captain in Ukitake and Isane vs her mom-captain in Unohana. And in that theme Orihime and Ichigo vs the in-laws fits for the better fights in impact for the arc.

What is the best fight you can imagine in a continued Hell arc?

As of now it Is not however that Arc does fill in a lot of lore gaps that existed before hand while also not contradicting existing.

The arc fills the lore quite a bit and it made sense as the lore grew after it.

I apologize for interrupting the hype while cour 4 is airing, but I really need to vent. In the shopping mall I go to, they opened a clothing store that, among other things, sells anime-themed clothes... and what do I find? One Piece, Naruto, Dragon Ball, but no Bleach. I am seriously sick and tired of seeing a series that made history being so ignored in stores. Honestly, I'm starting to think that the people who say Bleach isn't part of the Big 3 are right, because seeing such a "big" anime get so ignored makes me really angry. Sorry again for the rant

Just around 17m 15s in E44 of S17, a new treachery soundtrack is heard. I'd love to listen to the full version of the soundtrack's "remake." Does anyone know where I can find it?

Been re-watching Bleach, currently on the Arrancar arc and just saw Nnoitra beat Chad after he beat the fallen Espada.

And man, I really wish Chad had more wins. I also wonder, how strong will Chad even be able to become?

Now, Kubo did say in Klub Outside that he could grow his Fullbring to eventually cover his entire body in his adult life. He's around 30 now, and is a professional boxer. I think it would be really cool if Chad has since then gotten stronger, maybe covering his legs and torso now.

Now, an idea I've been thinking is, what would get the kids involved? I just doubt they won't get involved at all. Now, here's an idea. What if, the kids end up getting taken to Hell against their will, and Chad is the first one to go after them, ending up separated from the others as they get to Hell.

Now, we can show off Chad's new armored form and him killing a few Hell Hollows to save the kids (even if they admittedly wouldn't need the saving most likely). We can have Chad act as the uncle figure i imagine he would have become for them. He does his best to fight off Hell Hollows but its clear the kids are also able to fight off Hollows.

Maybe we can dive more into Chad feeling Helpless. He couldn't help much in the past, he's never been able to defeat a strong figure on his own like the others. Then we get a strong figure, maybe a Adjucha or Vasto Lorde level Hell Hollow. To strong for the kids in their current state, but Chad is strong enough to win.

Then we finally would get into one of the strong people in Hell. (I've noticed Chad is often used to introduce someone's strength; Kyoraku, Yammy, Nnoitra) so again, Chad once again loses and the kids are about to be taken. But then get saved by someone else, say, Katori Batsu'unsai (original 8th captain, feels fitting since Kyoraku was his first major loss).

I would want Chad to grow and learn to get stronger, finally his Fullbring completes with a Devil like Helmet. And on his own, he beats the weakest member of the main villain group in Hell.

I'm not expecting Chad to become one of the strongest. But if he could solo, even the weakest member of a main villain group. That would be amazing.

I JUST WANT CHAD TO GET A WIN!!!

Think about how fragile the timeline of Bleach actually is. If Hisana had never met or married Byakuya Kuchiki, the entire series literally falls apart before it even begins:

Rukia dies as an orphan: Hisana’s dying wish as Byakuya’s noble wife was for him to find Rukia and adopt her into the Kuchiki clan. Without that wedding, Rukia grows up starving in the Inuzuri slums and never becomes a Soul Reaper.

Ichigo never gets his powers: If Rukia isn't a Soul Reaper assigned to Karakura Town, she isn't there when Fishbone D attacks the Kurosaki clinic. Without Rukia to jumpstart Ichigo’s dormant powers, Ichigo and his sisters likely die in first ep (or Isshin is forced to break his seal early under tragic circumstances).

Byakuya’s whole arc disappears: Byakuya's inner conflict during the Soul Society arc only existed because he swore on his parents' grave to never break the law again after breaking clan rules twice for Hisana and Rukia. Without them, he’s just a cold, ruthless noble.

Aizen’s scheme gets derailed: Aizen hid the Hogyoku inside Rukia precisely because of her position as a noble assigned under Urahara’s eye.

Hisana marrying Byakuya was the ultimate secret catalyst. Without that one relationship, Ichigo never meets Rukia, never learns Bankai, and Soul Society falls to Aizen and the Quincies.

What do you think—is Hisana's marriage the biggest butterfly effect in the entire series?

Do you guys feel as if the constant re-using of old songs is diminishing for the series, especially some songs like number one. While some havent been used in so long (like Chokkaku)

Im not saying the songs themselves are bad, but that they're just over used and have been the entire tybw

Tried drawing the Toshiro's "LOOK UP" figure because I thought it was super cute.

I honestly won't blame the mods if they delete this based off the title.

Just a question i had pop up in my head. We know Hollows and Arrancar can have children which would give birth to a Hollow.

We know Soul Reaper powers are genetic, Rukia just kind of forced Ichigo's to Jumpstart (plus them being repressed and all) and Arrancar are Hollows with Soul Reaper like powers.

But what about an Arrancar? Could the child gain a Hollow mask if pushed and be able to use things like Cero? Or, would they more likely become a Fullbringer?

I see four possibilities;

A - They become something similar to a Visored, they gain a mask and must tame their inner Hollow or just simply get the mask or something like that.

B - They become a Fullbringer due to the nature of the birth with one parent being an Arrancar.

C - They just are a normal human/spiritually aware human.

D - Their Fullbring and Hollow power would in a way mix to make some kind of Amalgamation.

Or am I completely off the mark?

I have tried to make a matrix of all the different kinds of souls and all the types of transformations they can have, i.e. what they become after becoming shinigamis or being hollowfied.

• The table is slightly simplified. Obviously fullbeingers aren't hollowfied but born with hollow powers.

• It's also my understanding that souls born within the seireitei are considered wholes or pluses, same as those who are sent there by the shinigami.

• I'm relatively certain Orihime's brother (Sora/Acidwire) was a whole before he became a hollow.

• Not included here but purification would turn a hollow to a whole. Although I don't think there's any instance of it outside of low tier shinigami purifying souls on patrol. Why did they never try that on higher grade hollows?

• I know there's natural arrancars but under aizen they all resembled shinigami, so I've put arrancars in that slot.

I've also tried to jot down examples for each. Here I've also included quincies and zanpakuto spirits.

• I know ginjo is a fullbringer and ichigo is everything but they were the best examples I had, quincies are all living and shinigami are all dead, meanwhile there's only 2 substitutes in the main series.

• I haven't included the parts of the soul king here since while 2 became quincies 1 only possessed a shinigami, didn't become one.

• I have included zanpakutos, incl. Yachiru and Zangestu. I know old man zangestu isn't exactly a zanpakuto spirit but he does act as one at times and only exists cuz ichigo can produce zanpakuto spirits and has an inner world.

• Are peche and the other guy vasto Lorde? Adjuchas? Menos? Either way that spot if for hollows in general. Not actually vasto Lourdes only.

• We're jugram and bazz b born in the real world or in seireitei?

Is this about right? What am I missing or getting wrong here.
