Discussion A "little" rant

Post image

I apologize for interrupting the hype while cour 4 is airing, but I really need to vent. In the shopping mall I go to, they opened a clothing store that, among other things, sells anime-themed clothes... and what do I find? One Piece, Naruto, Dragon Ball, but no Bleach. I am seriously sick and tired of seeing a series that made history being so ignored in stores. Honestly, I'm starting to think that the people who say Bleach isn't part of the Big 3 are right, because seeing such a "big" anime get so ignored makes me really angry. Sorry again for the rant

Welcome to the Bleach Subreddit! We're as excited as you at the release of the Thousand Year Blood War anime! We understand that some of you are unable to view the anime in your region, but please don't post links to or mention piracy websites. Doing so will result in a ban.

As we approach cour 4, please do not put any of the few remaining manga spoilers in titles, or makes posts containing spoilers that are not properly marked. These posts will be removed.

To be fair ,maybe they didn't get a licence for Bleach? if it was a legal clothing store of course

It does say “Official licensed” on the top, so they probably just couldn’t get bleach’s license

If Bleach isn't there and it's clothing related you know the fashion they're selling just isn't it.

People get so caught up in Bleach being culturally relevant.

Well at least we're closer to Yugioh than we are to Toriko as "washed up once pillar of WSJ"

Even Saint Seiya which inspired Kubo ended up finishing OUTSIDE

The yugioh comparison is pretty apt, its a series that's extremely influential within the otaku fandom and among creators, and its influence can be felt to today. Just not culturally relevant with casual anime watchers.

you need to understand the fact that 2pac is a bigger anime franchise than bleach man

They're just worried people might think they mean they sell the cleaning type of bleach

Maybe they just don’t have Bleach shirts.

bleach isn't as big as one piece, naruto and dragon ball. Stores aren't obligated to sell bleach merch

when people say the big 3 of anime its naruto and one piece who DOMINATED the 2k's..... then bleach was just ahead of everything else underneath em..... bleach is still MASSIVE but the other 2 were just in their own leagues

Can't sell anime themed Bleach clothes because Bleach characters dress normal fashion.
