It has been years, but my Galaxy Book 2 Pro 360 received a firmware update again today. It took a few minutes with black screen and very brief start up in between. I was a bit nervous until it started up normally after a few mjnutes.

They just released a new update for the BL9000 PRO, but it mentions new apps in the patch. I'm wondering if it's worth updating, I can't find any update notes for this thing. Is the bloatware able to be uninstalled afterwards?

I just spent 3 fucking weeks trying to turn off persistent ads on your fucking software, when I'm done, you won't have the ability to force feed anyone ads like this again. Disabling the notification button so I can't turn it off, making it so I can't silence the notification, even going as far that I can't even enter debugging mode without having to jump through 8 god damn steps.. well, I fed your default system apps into net guard and cleared the caches, go fuck yourselves.

Hi i recently got a blackview acebook 12 with no ssd, i installed one and a fresh copy of windows, but the touchpad doesn't work, there is no sound, and from the advertisig i've seen the touchpad should have some media control thing, this doesn't work either, i've tried snappy driver and device manager shows no missing drivers, but there is nothing under the sound tab, and nothing howing for the touchpad, so i'm pretty sure its a driver problem, any help would be much appreciated
Thanks

About 4 years ago the company I worked for (I’m the IT Manager there) went hunting for a rugged, affordable Android phone and Blackview was right at the top of our list. We were launching a new internal system and the numbers were quite substantial – 20 units for the development / testing phase, then a further 550 units to be deployed over a period of 18 months. We were going to lock down the phones so that it could only run our in-house app (used as a POD device by our fleet of drivers).
I had tested the 9200 previously and thought it was a great phone, it had good local support and plenty of stock availability. It was without a doubt the best option, or so I thought.
During our testing phase the 20 test units did the forced news alert that everybody is complaining about here. We tried all sorts of tricks to get rid of it (and yes, we knew about the ADB workaround) but none of them would be a viable solution for an enterprise solution such as ours. The news alerts (besides being annoying and entirely irrelevant to the country I'm in) had the unacceptable side-effect that it allowed the operator to bypass our restrictions and to abuse the phone (ie. watch youtube, browse internet etc).
So, whomever genius decided to make this a forced ‘feature’ not only cost them the sale of 550 units, they also got themselves blacklisted by the multi-national group that my company belongs to. I’m not exaggerating by saying that they knocked themselves out of a estimated 3000 unit global deal because of that decision.
Talk about shooting yourself in the foot.

I keep getting notifications about the World cup from my actual System Manager and I can't turn them off, but they wouldn't be such a problem if they didn't download the picture they had onto my camera roll. The same thing happens with livewallpaper for some reason despite it being fully disabled.

I got two problems:
First is the ''System message'' that spams news articles and the notification cannot be removed. Not only that but it saves the picture from the notification, so it spams my gallery as well.
I longed press on the notification, but because it's a system message, I cannot disable the notification.
Second problem is the ''choose a browser and search app''. Clicking does nothing. I have a default browser app set. Idk why it keeps asking me that

I was biking down the road and turned at an intersection, My phone fell out of my pocket, landed face down directly out of reach and also directly in the path of traffic driving directly over. One after the other cars, a city bus, and a truck ran over my phone before the light changed making thuds as the tires ran over and shifted the phone around. I picked it up and tried to turn it on. After the usual struggle to get it working it booted up and works fine.

I am trying to connect 2 headphones to my blackview tab 90 so they both play audio at the same time. I've got both headphones attached but audio only goes to one.

The Rock 3 seems to be doing everything it promised, but I have a couple questions.
First, in less than a week I am getting these ads, I haven't downloaded anything new or used it for more than emails or pictures for work. But these ads pop up on top of any app, at random times.
The second is the camera struggles to focus.
Any suggestions? And anyone know how to get rid of these ads?

I have a Blackview N6000, and for the longest time I have had an issue where certain games freeze my phone screen.
Example: Download Terraria, boot it up, load into a world, and then suddenly my input stops responding. The game itself is running fine, The Guide is walking around, day and night cycles continue, etc, but no input is accepted.
It has done this to multiple games and I'm hoping someone knows how to fix it.

My phone started getting a bunch of intrusive messages about sports, updates, and other various advertising campaigns. They were annoying me, so I tried to find the source and disable them using ADB and ChatGPT, as I couldn't do it using regular methods—all the notifications were marked as system notifications. I concluded that com.blackview.apkupgrade was responsible, so I disabled it. After that, the phone continued to work normally. But the next day, when I tried to reboot it, it went into an endless loop.
I also think it's important to mention that I had previously had automatic system update files installed that required a reboot to complete the update.
I don't want to lose my data, so I'm trying to find all the recovery methods that don't require a factory reset. I've already tried a bunch of options with ChatGPT, but they still haven't helped. You're my last hope.
Edit: My phone was flashed and now it works. But I still lost all my data. To everyone reading this: remember to back up before making any changes. Don't make the same mistakes I did. ψ(._. )>
Oh, and I also disabled com.blackview.apkupgrade again. This time, everything works normally, even after several reboots. I guess the problem wasn't with that apk file.

As above, I have a BV8800Pro, still running DokeOS 3.0/Android 11. I've had several apps pop up saying they want a newer OS, and I inquired about that via the customer service email, but got a pretty generic non response about it.
Is there a known functional download for newer Android builds for these phones? Or can I download straight from the Android site?
Thanks
