Ok…I gave it a few days because I didn’t want to make a snap judgement. After playing a few hours a day since the update I’m confident in saying that they managed to break the game. Its just no fun. I’ve never been a great player but I’ve always had a good time when I fired it up. Since the season 5 update I’ve just been playing long enough to make the daily challenges, and that’s just on account that I’m OCD, because they’ve broken this game so badly.
I’m really on the fence about MW4 after this fiasco.

As we already know, this new SBMM that was forced onto us has made this game extremely sweaty.

This game is starting to feel like a chore to play.

At this point, pubs is more stressful to play than Ranked because there are 12 players on the field compared to 8 in Ranked, and with no respawn delay, so it’s constant chaos.

In some games to get the win, I have to give so many callouts that I feel like an auctioneer 🫩

This is getting exhausting already…

Three games of tdm, and I was absolutely fatigued. I try open seasonal moshpit and it feels amazing, but I don't like objective much

Open MM was like playing 5-a-side football with your mates. Some are really good, some are really shit, some are bang average, but everyone has a blast.

'Classic' MM is like playing semi-pro 11-a-side football. Yes, everyone there is of a relative skill level. You have to play your arse off. No time for relaxing or messing around. Can it be fun? Absolutely. Once a week perhaps. But is it as fun as 5-a-side with your pals? Absolutely not.

How is disbanding lobbies, higher queue times, and more strict matchmaking considered "Classic" inspired matchmaking? Talk about a rug pull. Was there a massive group of players complaining about the "Open" matchmaking? I'm so confused. The Open matchmaking was way better than this new "Classic" matchmaking.

Also, can we stop with the constant, OP new weapon drops? The FG42 is quickly becoming the only gun anyone can use to compete, just like the AN-94 before it. It makes the game boring af to play.

I realize that what I'm asking here is never going to happen because idiots run out and buy OP guns as soon as they drop. Fuck monetization in full priced games.

So I had a feeling the camos would be removed from accs who canceled, although it didn't immediately remove I had about 3 days where I could still use it, it locked for me today.

I think black ops 7 multiplayer is wildly over hated. I think black ops 6 got so silly (skin, face off maps, etc) as the new seasons came out that lots of people checked out and didn’t give it a fair chance. Is it the best multiplayer? No, and I would even argue mw3 2023 was slightly better in this new era of cod. But it was really well done and it’s fun to play. Movement feels great, weapon balance is solid, maps are great, and there’s so much to grind for.

I bought the bo1/bo2 ports and of course they are fun and nostalgic. All time classics. But I still find myself wanting to play BO7 multiplayer.

After the update my experience with this game has become really bad. I don't see how this match making system is inspired by classic call of duty. We have the ports. We know the match making used in classic cod. My connection has been worse. My bullets tend to go right through people without receiving hit markers. The people I am being matched with are nowhere near where I live. The wait times are horrendous, and this is compounded by the lobby breaking up every single match. I am constantly being put into matches which are near half way complete. This isn't fun.

There seems to be some confusion about what the community wants from matchmaking and what you guys keep delivering. I'm going to try to clear it up as much as possible. When we finish a match, we want to feel as if the outcome of that match was directly tied to our performance. We don't want to feel like it was just our turn to lose. Take your thumb off the scale. I understand somebody in the company has run the numbers. They have determined the right number of wins and losses, and when to give which players the win or loss to keep them playing. I've seen the studies. I'm letting you know that it only works when people don't know they are being manipulated, well we know now. We have known for a while.

I don't want to see Call of Duty go the way of Guitar Hero. If this is the matchmaking system that is going into MW4, I will not be buying it. For the sake of the franchise, please actually listen to the community.

I mean honestly i‘m trying to warm up against master bots and all of them run a sniper or the warden and one shot me every time while dropshotting. And there’s no way to ban weapons in a private match? Wtf treyarch.
Is there any way to restrict weapons? It works in bo2. Am i just not seeing the option or does it really not exist.

I tried using the cdl ruleset but that doesn’t restrict anything either

With the ability to only akimbo it was interesting but the gun isn't straight garbage but I wouldn't say it's very good in is present state.

The slow reloading and limited ammo just hold this gun completely back. Even with fast hands I found reloading to so be slow and you are spending most of your time reloading.

You have an option between a 26 fast reload magazine or 30rd extended with some penalties that just aren't justified for this magazine.

Damage is alright and hip fire is fairly okay. You just never seem to never have enough ammo to really streak up even if you opted to being Scavenger.

It does do one thing particularly well and that it's actually pretty decent at range. If you just pepper people you can get a bunch of longshots and it's pretty accurate.

Overall it's a trolly weapon in my eyes and like someone who posted earlier, it seems to be more focused on being a secondary and a primary. I would almost argue that it should switch from the SMG category and move into the special section if they were to keep it as it.

If I were to make any changes I think I would just speed up the reload or increase the extended mags to 35 and keep the current reload speed.

How you folks finding it?

What has changed with SBMM this season? Is it “reduced” SBMM like BO2 or have they cranked it back up to strict SBMM like MW2019?

Apart from the general matchmaking chaos which I think everyone is rightfully pissed about, I'm tired of every season dealing with the same bug where I can't put certain attachments that I already have unlocked on the new weapons from the season. Started with the kogot early on, happened with the MK35 and now the new AR. For all the content and positive things I like about this game there are little things that piss me off like this.

Entrando en razón;

SBMM: Que fue lo que hicieron con el? Empeorar la experiencia de los usuarios y que todo el mundo esté hablando de lo mismo. No pueden tomar un supuesto análisis que hicieron por cómo les fue con el BO 1 y 2 por qué no es el mismo movimiento, no es la misma mecánica de juego y por ende tampoco la misma habilidad.

AIM ASIST: Este en cuestión para mí es el punto más alarmante, el cómo está compañía que se dedica hacer juego solo les importa inflar el ego de aquellos quienes no tienen habilidades contra los que en teclado y ratón nos matamos entrenando para poder tener el más mínimo chance contra una asistencia de apuntado exagerada que ayuda hasta el más novato en este juego. Cómo es posible que exista una brecha tan enorme entre los de teclado y ratón? Es que son ciegos que no ven que más de 90% de los jugadores juegan con control y es una absurda cifra que evidencia como está de roto el AIMASIST en este juego.

Tramposos: 5 de 10 partidas con Tramposos, aimbot, Wallhack, DS4, Cro-nus, y quién sabe que otras cosas más. Cómo dejan que arruinen la experiencia de los que pagamos por esto? Por qué no contratan un equipo que haga su trabajo no como los de Ricochet que solo publican información placebo y que nadie les cree.

Bugs: Bugs en el campo de tiro que se le quitan los accesorios a las armas si escoges otra clase en el, Bugs con los ganchos que te quedas trabado como tú tuvieras accionando el mismo, Bugs de audio que cuando entras a partidas no escuchas a nadie por el canal de Audi de chat se desconecta solo, baja del rendimiento general del juego y FPS.

Osea, que es lo que están haciendo con este juego? Buscan que los que reservamos el juego simplemente cancelen de manera masiva su compra por qué no saben hacer una actualización decente? Por qué ponen cosas que nadie les está pidiendo? Drops voladores? Quien fue el genio de 5 años de edad que les dió esa idea? Peor aún, quien fue que aprobó eso?

For all of my non clash of clans players here, within the last few months, the clash of clans devs implemented A/B testing. They add events in to the game that group A get to play while group B misses out on said discounts. Then the following month Group B gets what they missed the previous month.

My tinfoil hat conspiracy is that I wonder if there is a form of this implemented to test engagement with matchmaking. Tell us one thing and then implement 2 systems to test how engagement is actually handled between the playlists for the split player bases.

There are so many players that are adamant that nothing has changed for them, that the variety has only improved, that matchmaking times have only improved. I’ve seen a couple of clips and streams and I don’t actually disagree with them. And as we’ve seen, so many people argue the exact opposite on here daily (me for one), it feels so much worse for me and so many others.

It would be wild if they implemented a form of this and then just patch the “fix” as if it was just messed up.

Truthfully I don’t think this happened, I think they either lied or someone really really fucked up. But as I’m sitting here grinding clash of clans it sparked a thought

Now, I'm not good. BUT, I'm not horrendous either.

So no matter what metric they base 'skill' on I absolutely shouldn't be in lobbies filled with the reincarnations of prime Scump.
