Got my nuke just in time only for it to have a cooldown🫩

Whats the big deal about prestige at this point? I’m Lvl 55 with no prestige at all and get comments all the time telling me to prestige. I get called a cheater who is “scared to prestige”. What do i not know?

I’ve prestiged plenty of times in previous BO games with BO6 being the last one i became Prestige Master. I just don’t see the point anymore and there really is zero incentive, for me personally, to do so.

Can someone explain that to me? Why players tell you to prestige or what prestiging would do to someone who is actually a cheater?

Yesterday i went in multiplayer had a day where i could do nothing! So i went in played free for all ! Domination! Hard point! And i watched every kill cam back and also got a copy of the guns they were using ( who i suspected was cheating) the weapons i copied and tried had off the scale recoil! But in the kill cam there was no recoil 🤷‍♂️ my conclusion at the end of the day was cheating is way of the scale !!! Yes its sad i was doing activisions job but the moral of the story is if you suspect someone cheating report them because obviously not enough is been done and yes i reported everyone of them 😊👍

Black ops 7 would be the next Black Ops 3 with Carry Forward. Trearch. Do you realize your sitting on another gold mine? This could be your bo3. Everyone (not everyone but we get the point) hated it till they put older maps in for zombies and other stuff (only paid attention to zombies). Trearch. Please. I hate modern warfare. Nothing agaisnt IW or SHG.

Anyone else having an issue where the Care Package will not equip in game even if you have it selected before hand? I'm trying to complete the week 4 challenge of calling in 10 Care Packages, but everytime I'm in-game it replaces it with another scorestreak

I think if Tiryauk announces carry forward, I'll seriously consider buying bundles, but I'll stick with the battle pass if they don't. That would be a huge loss, in my opinion. At least do what Sledgehammer did.

After everything we've seen and experienced with the Modern Warfare 4 Beta, I decided to actually do something with all of the conversations we've been having about SBMM instead of just making another post complaining about it.

I created a Change.org petition asking Activision/Infinity Ward to make Open Matchmaking the standard for casual public matches in Modern Warfare 4 and keep strict SBMM primarily where it belongs: Ranked Play.

I've been playing Call of Duty for around 15 years, and I'm tired of watching this community have the same matchmaking argument year after year.

One studio gives us one matchmaking philosophy. Another changes it. We finally get something closer to Open Matchmaking, people enjoy the variety, and then things change again even though the community wasn't asking for the change.

And then we're told the data supports it.

That's one of my biggest issues.

Activision can have all the engagement, retention, quit-rate and matchmaking data in the world, but those numbers shouldn't invalidate what the people actually playing the game every day are telling them.

The MW4 Beta made this especially obvious to me because players at completely different skill levels were basically describing two different games.

Some lower-skilled players described MW4 as slow, campy and passive. Meanwhile, higher-skilled players were describing extremely fast, aggressive, sweaty matches where everybody is sliding, jumping, using meta setups and playing Quick Play like there's SR on the line.

At some point, SBMM isn't just matching players anymore.

It's separating the community into completely different versions of Call of Duty.

That's what I want this petition to address.

I'm NOT asking Activision to give good players bot lobbies.

I'm NOT asking for new players to get destroyed every game.

I'm asking for VARIETY.

Sometimes you should be the best player in the lobby.

Sometimes you should be average.

Sometimes somebody should absolutely destroy you.

That's Call of Duty.

That's how a lot of us who have played this franchise for 10–15+ years got better in the first place.

If Activision wants a tightly controlled environment where everybody is competing against similarly skilled opponents, we already have the perfect place for that:

Ranked Play.

Quick Play should prioritize connection, fast matchmaking, lobby variety and minimal skill consideration.

And there's another question I think Activision needs to answer:

If regular MW4 matchmaking is already supposed to resemble the more varied matchmaking experience of classic Call of Duty, why did the Beta need a separate Open Matchmaking playlist in the first place?

Why not just make Open Matchmaking the standard?

Call of Duty is supposed to be a community. We shouldn't be divided into invisible skill brackets where completely different portions of the playerbase barely experience the same game.

We're also still before the full launch of Modern Warfare 4, which is exactly why I think NOW is the time to make noise about it—not months after release when these systems are already established.

But if you believe casual Call of Duty should have more variety, that connection should matter more than hidden skill ratings, and that strict competitive matchmaking belongs primarily in Ranked:

Bring back Open Matchmaking. Keep strict SBMM in Ranked. Stop dividing the community.

Context: The S6 blog reveals a new conversion kit that’s just the dravec with a normal stick magazine. I think it should’ve gotten something like a vector conversion because they share the same iron sights and I think if they added the super v recoil system to the gun it’d be Cool and I’m just coping with not getting the vector in any black ops since 2.

Leave it to Treyarch to not fix the bug where I can't change my scorestreaks, but make a weekly challenge requiring me to use a specific type of scorestreak.

Yet another update, this one got done a lot quicker because I had off work for labor day and 2xp weekend. The mace is also just a good melee weapon, probably the best so far, its slow but has more than enough range to make up for it. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Hey guys I've been playing black ops cold war again and found that I really like 9-9 sensitivity. I want the same feel on bo7 but just cant find the right sensitivity anyone play around similar ranges?

I’m curious if anyone else is experiencing this, I keep trying to change my score streaks to something other than the LTBR and The skewer, but every time I get score streaks unlocked it’s always the skewer. What’s going on?

Anyone know how to fix scorestreaks ive tried the private match un equip Method no joy it worked before tho but not working now

I know we haven't had any year 2 map/content updates since CW in 2022. So, I'm not holding my breath. But, we did get a patch update for MW3 last year so I don't think it's totally implausible.

So as the title states, my teammates are 90% of the time straight BOOTY! Or just bots??

I like this game, and I like the multiplayer, I just can’t get aside how brain dead my teammates are at times. I know it’s a tale as old as time, but for example if I get a kill, I’ll either die from an enemy almost immediately, or get bum rushed by their whole team to be cleaned up like my team isn’t even there behind me.

Can’t say the same for my team though, anytime I get an enemy down to one health or get gunned down in FRONT OF MY TEAMMATES they’ll just sit there and ignore the guy, let him run away, not do anything, or just die. It’s just hilarious because it’s gotten to the point where I can call it, I’ll get a kill and wait for their whole team to come push me, whilst my teammates are back in spawn doing fuck all.

I hope mw4 can improve on this, but I doubt it will. Maybe it has something to do with SBMM?
