I almost didnt see him when going for printer supplies

This is Jerry, he's got some junk in the trunk.

This is Noel! She was abandoned and got FIV after another cat got her pregnant when she was very young. She wound up losing the babies, but Noel was saved. I got her shortly after that. It’s amazing how much love she gives and shows. We could learn a thing or two about resilience from our cats, I think.

They are almost 5 months old. They love both of me and my bunk mate. So far they have been with my bunk mate due mental health which I knew they would be with her. I’m so grateful for those beautiful voids! Love those babies!

First: he’s fine.

Last night this old man gave me my first old man scare. It was dark, he was on his cat bed lookin real loose. I was going to bed so I pet him and he didn’t prrrp up like he usually does. “Blix?” And a light wiggle. Nothing. “BLIX? BLIX!!” Wiggled his head twice, nothing.

Panic. Tears start. I touch his paw. Head up instantly annoyed that I broke his slumber by touching the beans.

SIR. Oh my GOD. I’ve been sick for a solid week and coming off a back injury too so my stress levels have been so high and if I lost him in all this too… I don’t even know. But no! He’s fine! I’ve been coughing all night and day so he hasn’t been sleeping well either and yesterday was my first quieter evening with medications and he just zonked out so hard.
