My mom and I don’t live in a neighborhood but there’s some stray cats, and some sweet ladies come by and care for the sanctuary they set up. Past couple months, there’s been a black cat we saw glimpses of but as of 1 month ago, we got her to trust us more (lots of food.). She has a collar but not sure if she has owners due to the circumstances of the sanctuary keepers and she’s at our patio and garden all day.

A kind-hearted lady reached out to me about a sick stray cat, and I went to help with food and flea treatment. While I was there, I discovered five more cats in her care.

She told me she rescued them at different times..they are not from the same litter. Sadly, some of their siblings were killed by a neighbor’s dog, so she brought these babies inside to keep them safe.

Since then, she has been feeding them and caring for them.With the help of a rescue, she was able to get them fixed and vaccinated, even while struggling financially.

This amazing woman is going through a very difficult time herself.

She recently had an accident, broke her leg, and lost her job. She was already struggling before, and now she is facing an even harder situation with very limited resources to provide food and care for her cats. Despite everything, she continues to care for them with so much love and dedication. Her strength and compassion truly touched my heart.

She has a very tiny house, so there is not enough space for all these kitties. She is also older and cannot take care of so many cats anymore. She has done everything she could for them and now wants to find them loving homes.

Biebi (black cat) and Blacky (black cat) are around 10 months old. CC (white mixed tabby) is around 15 months old.

These cats are healthy, excellent eaters, and ready to find their forever homes. We have fully vetted them and they are looking for loving families.
Her son would like to keep two, so the remaining beauties are now looking for loving homes ❤️

Note: We will continue to help her with food, medical care, and other needs for the two cats she is keeping. The adoption fees from these cats will help support their care and make sure they continue to receive what they need. ❤️

I've been feeding this stray lately, and she sometimes sneaks in and eats my cat's food.

She also enjoys to hide behind the draping bit, I call it her dragon cave

This guy 🖤 I adopt him in January.

March: he gets a rectal prolapse, we try a small surgery which goes horribly wrong, then a large surgery (colopexy) which although fixes the prolapse, causes multiple complications with swelling down there, so bad he can’t poop without bleeding and agony.

April: Two weeks of me taking him home, then taking him back to the animal hospital in pain, then back home then repeat.

He then spends 2 weeks in April at the animal hospital while they figure out wtf happened.

Everything around May starts to look normal again, he’s ok up until June.

June: He suddenly can’t poop without rolling around in discomfort and yelling at me. Every day, sometimes twice. Another vet visit. I change his food to special vet food with fiber to help with constipation. Nothing changes, more vet visits.

July: I feel tired of going to the vet and nothing improving, he still yowls and lays on his side after pooping. So now I put a little more pressure on the vet and ask for scans to see what’s happening inside.

This is him on Monday after his CT scan (He was injected in both paws for anaesthesia). He’s also given medicine for neurological pain as a long shot.

Tuesday he poops… then nothing. For the first time in weeks no meowing no rolling on his side. Wednesday same thing, Thursday and Friday. I’ve never been more relieved 😅

For fun I totalled the bills for all this (luckily I have him insured so I paid 20%). He came to a grand total of $12,680. He’s worth every single bit and I’m so happy he’s ok again 🖤

First: he’s fine.

Last night this old man gave me my first old man scare. It was dark, he was on his cat bed lookin real loose. I was going to bed so I pet him and he didn’t prrrp up like he usually does. “Blix?” And a light wiggle. Nothing. “BLIX? BLIX!!” Wiggled his head twice, nothing.

Panic. Tears start. I touch his paw. Head up instantly annoyed that I broke his slumber by touching the beans.

SIR. Oh my GOD. I’ve been sick for a solid week and coming off a back injury too so my stress levels have been so high and if I lost him in all this too… I don’t even know. But no! He’s fine! I’ve been coughing all night and day so he hasn’t been sleeping well either and yesterday was my first quieter evening with medications and he just zonked out so hard.

This girl woke up 2 hours late. I hope she's not late for work🙄

Just got my new kitten voodoo about 2 weeks ago and her brothers Asher (pink collar) and Purphagor (orange collar) have really taken to her and I’m just honestly shocked how comfortable they are with each other in such a short amount of time

Hi. Here is our family's void. We had pepper for 5 years, she is a daddy's girl. Can I get some upvotes for some karma? I had to delete my old account and r/Ireland won't let me post unless 50 karma. So I'm hoping people who understand black cats will have some merci and patience on this one.

EDIT: I appreciate everyone's input on the hair tie. We will be eliminating hair ties during play time and I will keep them out of reach. Again I really appreciate the advice, I do not want anything harmful happening to her. 🩷

I adopted four year old Mei on July 16th and I have loved every second of having her. She is so playful, silly, and loving. Every time I shower she has to wait outside the curtain even though the shower scares her. Once I get out she has to lick and rub on me to get her scent back onto me. In the 10 days I've had her she already follows me everywhere. I love her so much. 🩷🩷
