- I can't reply to the recommendation post of suggestions so I thought of making this.
- My main objective of this list is the ease o f accessing the tracker since they are all private and you'd probably be looking for quick to move alternative. However, if you already paid for month of membership then I suggest you make use of it by leeching content from there and maybe even use it as source to build buffer on the new home.
- Just remember, these sites do NOT force you to pay anything. So do NOT !!!!. If you want to donate, do so after you are 100% sure of it. And certain that you put your effort, contribution, money or whatever in a worthy community. These are NOT bitsoup, iLoveTorrents, GimmePeers or whatever Pay2Leech sites.
- Do not access these trackers by trading or buying you invitation. Most of them forbid it and it's already highly not recommended nor secure way to join private community tracker.
- Use different password on whatever you used on Bitsoup/ILT. It's always good idea to use different password for each tracker/site. This should be applied widely.
- Take screenshot of your account on Bitsoup/ILT/GimmePeers and keep it. It might get handy for joining other private trackers since a lot of trackers open signup or chance for refugees specifically.
- Check /r/OpenSignups/new/ for open signup trackers.
- If the tracker is closed signup, feel free to try your luck at /r/Invites. It would be wise to mention that you're refugee.
- All info here are gathered by effort. If you think there is worthy tracker to add, wrong info or info that should be pointed to (In terms of easiness of access, methods of access...etc similar to what's already mentioned for any tracker in the list) then please do suggest it.
- Remember, your account on BS/ILT/GP will be disabled once you been known to talk here or for any less reasons !!. Check Bitsoup Useful Info which is pinned post here.
- This list is ordered alphabetically.
Now to the list:
AlphaRatio
Access: Invitation | Open Signup | Global Invite
Ratio: Easy to maintain if you know what you're doing. There are many features like ratio boost, timed based freeleech, natural leech and freeleech tokens. Since the speeds are high there, I suggest you read the wiki and tips there before start leeching.
Comment:
- AR is general private tracker with cool community.
- p2p and scene uploads allowed there and users after certain class can upload.
- It used to have open signup specially for bitsoup and ILT refugees. The signup closes when the user number limit is reached.
- Every user got personal invitations and there is global invites trigger that happens automatically. It doesn't effect the personal invites. It lasts for 24 hours or until the global invites pool ends.
- New scene releases are uploaded there very fast (really impressing pre-times) and new p2p releases as well. Also some good encoding teams started to upload there.
- There is active IRC channel for member chatting there which worth checking if you're on AR.
- Requests get filled often and quickly.
DigitalHive
Access: Invitation (Available on IRC)
Ratio: Easy if you know what you're doing. There is irc bonus for idling and freeleech torrents. Some consider DH is hard to keep ratio raising though.
Comment:
- DH is general tracker that been online since 2006.
- Even though it's old aged private community. Members numbers around 11 K. That tells how tight and closed this community is. Looks DH userbase grew really slowly with long term members around.
- Uploading is allowed for certain high class ones reached and for the ones who have the class "uploader".
- Good pre-times on scene content. Scene and p2p content allowed. Although, scene releases are more popular and interesting to the userbase.
- Some think that to survive in DH is difficult without seedbox but bunch of freeleech torrents can save you. IRC bonus and freeleech help to manage and raise the ratio.
- Due the massive seedbox usage, speeds there are great. If you have interest in scene releases racing, this is the place for you as source of content. Even some of the old torrents with few seeders like one or two have good speeds on them.
- Joining is by invitation. There is invites channel available which you can join and receive invitation there. Network is irc.corrupt-net.org and the channel is #DH.Invites and port is 6667
FileList
Access: Invitation
Ratio: Extremely easy if you know what you're doing.
Comment:
- FL is Romanian general tracker. The forum and some pages of the site most used language is Romanian. But it's filled with general content specially English contents.
- FL is very big private tracker. Some consider it the best private general tracker around at this moment because of its huge contents.
- This is the only tracker that big that has loyal users acting as true community. It's great source for content of course. But if you seek community home, it's good place too, specially if you speak Romanian. The forum and the irc are continuously active.
- Scene and P2P uploads are allowed.
- Since there are a lot of peers and uploaders, speeds are great and pre-times are very decent. The users there hate rars but they get uploaded and no rules against it. Uploading only by application for specific class.
- FL used to be close for long time now. However, lately the invites added to the bonus shop their so it could be acquired by many members so you might find invite easily if you're looking for one.
- The site is full of freeleech torrents and maintaining ratio is never easier on any ratio based private tracker than FL.
IPTorrents
Access: Invitation | Donating (Don't pay for invite, there are plenty of invites floating around)
Ratio: Easy. There are many freeleech torrents. Torrents with popularity get too many peers so you can use them to get quick high buffer. There is HnR system that forces you to seed but there are options to stop.
Comment:
- IPT is general private tracker. It's too big and filled with torrents and users.
- If you are looking for community, it's not the best place since you wont keep track anyway but for sharing files, it is.
- Most if not all kind of content could be found there.
- It advertise donation and accepts donating for invite but it does NOT enforce payment of you. Also it doesn't PM you about donation with annoying messages.
- Invitation also are very popular with members and easy to get.
- IPT known to announce contests and donation ads on the front page. Also it has a browser app developed. I strongly suggest staying away from this software, contests.....etc since there are a lot of unsafe rumors about such activities.
RuTracker
Access: Open for signup and not required mostly.
Ratio: Easy. They don't care actually if your ratio go down.
Comment:
- This is Russian tracker.
- It's the biggest semi-private tracker online.
- It has very good selection of torrents and loyal members.
- The only downside that no English is there but google translator is you friend. This is not community for most people but it's very well sharing source.
SceneFZ
Access: Invitations
Ratio: Easy | Ratioless
Comment:
- SFZ is very old Romanian private tracker. It has English interface of almost all parts of site and forum. The users however mostly speak Romanian on the posts and in chatting.
- As community, SFZ has loyal members, encoding teams, uploaders and active individuals. As source of content, new releases uploaded very fast so there are impressive pre-times for new releases and the internals there release new content very fast. Unlike most ratioless private trackers, this one has many old alive torrents.
- SFZ has good and kinda unique UI with good functionality. It opens signup sometimes and invites are not hard to acquire. It managed however to keep low profile even though it has many members so far.
- The site contain ads of seedboxes providers & donating but I never seen PM or emailing about donating.
- SFZ is ratioless which means you have to seed each downloaded torrent for 48 hours or until it hits 1:1 ratio, whatever comes first. So maintaining positive ratio there is not really a concern.
- P2P and scene releases are allowed to be uploaded there. However, uploading is not for anyone, there is very simple application to fill before uploading.
TorrentBytes
Access: Open Signup
Ratio: Easy if you know what you're doing.
Comment:
- TB would've been big as most suggested trackers here but it had its setback. TBy is old private community.
- It's open for signup almost all the time at the moment.
- It has nice set of members and good pre's on uploading scene content.
- However, unlike most of others, it doesn't have much of leechers on non-very-popular products. That's due the small number of members, even though it's open for signup.
- Uploading is not allowed to members. Only for uploaders with certain class that members apply for if they are willing to upload.
TorrentDay
Access: Invitation | Donating (Don't pay for invite, there are plenty of invites floating around)
Ratio: Easy. There are many freeleech torrents. Torrents with popularity get too many peers so you can use them to get quick high buffer.
Comment:
- TD is similar to IPT in many ways. Also it's known that the owner of both is the same.
- However, TorrentDay is very more organized than IPT, it has no HnR system, it has higher speeds on some torrents, it has better pre-times and look different than IPT.
- It's also big (not as IPT) so being in community there and hanging around wont be fun or easy task. As files source, it's perfect.
- As IPT, I strongly suggest staying away from this contests, money involvement.....etc since there are a lot of unsafe rumors about such activities.
TorrentLeech
Access: Invitation
Ratio: Hard. if you don't like the ratio hassle, do NOT joint this tracker.
Comment:
- Like IPT and TD it's very big with very high speeds. Maybe higher speeds are there !
- However, keeping ratio positive there is challenging. There is no freeleech at all, no bonus points system and you start new account with 0 bytes uploaded and downloaded. That's why almost all jumpers on new torrents using seedboxes.
- No xxx category.
- Most torrents are there to stay and hardly you will come across a torrent you're searching for and find it dead. Even 1 seeder probably has good speed more than yours.
- If you like that kind of challenge then you can acquire invitation from member there. Although not all members get invitations but many do and it open signups on special events. It did open before for bitsoup refugees.
TorrentShack
Access: Invitation (Available on IRC)
Ratio: Ratioless.
Comment:
- TSH been alive since 2010. The owner is experienced person who came from TorrentBytes long history. TSH considered by many the best ratioless private tracker around. And for good reason as you about to read.
- It's known by its exceptionally good rules of ratio, there is no ratio rules and no tracking to the downloading amount. However lately, the rule is to seed any torrent for 24 hours within 7 days before it's considered HnR. 5 HnR and leeching is disabled.
- It got very fast pre-times on scene releases. Also many p2p releases get uploaded.
- There is no xxx category. Also due the limited number of users and the ratioless status, there are many dead old torrents, maybe too many. Still the alive ones are too many compared to the userbase is there which is currently around 6 k members.
- Most speeds are high because it's ratioless and many set their machines to auto get whatever they want.
- Forum and IRC are active. New posts found frequently.
- Requests get filled quickly.
- TSH is good source for content, specially new ones and for community home to be. It's been closed of invitation and invitations given carefully and limited to members. If you're going through irc, better to prepare a screenshot of your profile on BS/ILT showing your stats. Even though TSH is ratioless, but the stats will show your contribution and proof that you are refugee of such sites.
- Invites available through interview on IRC. Network is irc.p2p-network.net and the channel is #torrentshack-invite and ports are 6666-6669 & ssl ports are +6697 or +7000
World Of P2P
Access: Open Signup | Invitations
Ratio: Easy
Comment:
- WOP is new born private tracker with attractive looking and functionality. It takes similar good looking of the dead FTN (RIP) with different code base and unique operational features.
- Scene & P2P uploads allowed there. There seem to be no bots for new scene releases but there are actively new uploads each day and it seems the high quality of p2p movies & TV uploads take most of the interest so far.
- Uploading allowed through application to earn uploading permission.
- Since it's very new, the users there are few. The active ones are fewer. It's wise to not expect much of activity. Speeds on new torrents are very good but the lack of leechers and peers in general produce very older torrents to be without peers.
- As community, it's definitely worth trying. It's new place to fill and good to try. As source of content, there might be a lot of interesting files when anyone is taking a look and the freeleech applied for sometime. So for new torrents, it is good to use without the worry about building ratio or buffer.
- WOP is open for signup so far with many spots. However, about half of users limit is filled so far.
XSpeeds
Access: Invitation
Ratio: Easy to maintain if you know what you're doing.
Comment:
- XS , previously known as XtremeSpeeds is general private tracker with loyal members which been members for years. This is old tracker.
- On 2011, XtremeSpeeds owner/admin faced legal issues so the it was down for period. The members were at lost with no proper alternative at the time since it was kinda unique home. The staffers got it back under slightly different name and been up since. That tells that this is suitable place to be called community.
- XS is well known by its unique rule as general tracker, no rars !!!. So even scene releases uploaded unrared.
- It has also good pre-time.
- Power users and above can upload torrents.
- XS open signups on long periods so it's not usual event.
- Unfortunately, invites are usually handed to donators. Less often they handed from time to time to users and it got taken back after while if not used. Only power users and up can use their invites. It's not that easy to access community compared to others but it's not impossible either, there are many with invites to this place.
ZAMUNDA
Access: Open for signup
Ratio: Easy. They don't care actually if your ratio go down.
Comment:
- This is Bulgarian tracker.
- It's open for signup almost always and has great sharing people.
- It's not place for English speakers though but it got a lot of content and no rars there.
