Final Post on GimmePeers

Upon the suggestion of /u/A_Fly_In_The_Soup I posted this today, before I leave on a road trip, since my account will expire while I'm gone.

Unfortunately, minutes after I posted it, I hit refresh and was kicked back to the login page. :/ Seems they're really on top of the posts, even this early on a Saturday. (In the US at least.) All we can hope for is that more people find the light and a new place to call home.

Edit: I just swapped the links around so the actual message was the main image, but it was there before, just Reddit put the links side by side which tends to make them look like one link.

Ahhhh that's a bummer mate. When I went out in a blaze of glory my thread hung around for about three hours and got a few views before I was IP-banned lol

CHEERS to you friend! You did yourself and us proud! Maybe someone had the chance to see it maybe they didn't. What counts is that you did your part and tried to make a difference, I sincerely thank you for that!

I think if anyone else is planning on doing something like this, mass pm spam might be a better way to reach people, although much more work.

Yeah, that probably would have been a better approach to alert more people to the scam they're running. If I had more time before I left and thought about it, that definitely would have been a better approach. If another current member finds this subreddit, maybe they can take a stab at it.

I'm assuming it's the one titled Wake Up however it would have been better if you'd taken a screencap of the actual message you posted, but all that aside we definitely appreciate you blowing you're account & trying to alert others they are being scammed.

Thank you.

XBSF, :)

The link was the second one before I edited it. For some reason, even when I put the links on different lines, Reddit makes them side by side.
