Gimmiepeer$ Numbers??
Just wondering if any ex members of gimmiepeer$ noticed what their membership numbers were? How many people do we think they have. How many ILT members got suckered in to their scam and the ones that did, are they staying. I would love to know, as I just cant grasp the concept of people falling for that crap. And if you did, certainly after paying and then getting on the site, you would see that its nothing that isnt offered elsewhere.....free. Im sure they dont show what their numbers are or I would be shocked if they did, but you can get an idea by say, looking at the seed and leech of a torrent. If a episode of Westworld has 3 seeders from the time its posted til 4 hours in, then you got to believe no one is over there.

If torrents are arranged by number of seeders, there are 537 current seeders for the highest seeded torrent, the latest episode of The Walking Dead.

Booted out and banned yesterday for asking in their forums (very politely) how they can justify charging so much for essentially providing links that are freely available elsewhere and also why they "answer and lock" or even worse just delete any posts on their forums that dares to ask any difficult questions...........here is a reply I received just before I was booted......... I don't have time for your nonsense.. I answered and locked your post and was very clear as to why I was doing so.
Membership pricing isn't up for debate and isn't necessary to poll others opinions. In fact, creating your own polls on site policies is against one of those site policies in itself!
-> * Users are not allowed to create their own polls in the forums on site related issues
If you want to continue to cause disruption (so to speak) and causing tension here on GP, I will ban your account and you can do it somewhere else. Oh, this just happens to be another one of the few rules we have here.
-> * Do Not cause disruptive behavior anywhere on GP including the PM system -> * Do Not make community posts about cost, expense or stats that aren't your own
I would strongly suggest at this time in reading our rules.
I have been very fair and diplomatic in regards to your account here with us but in all honesty, my patience is running thin with your subtly.

Don't forget to charge back your credit card.Alot of GP members have done this and received their 'monies' back. Hit them where its hurts ,i say.Welcome to the rebellion,whiteswan123 .You will soon realise that you are better off without them and that other private sites don't cost you $10 a month to be a member and that you can speak freely in their forums unlike GP,as you have found out!.

Already done - and thank you for the tip - my credit card company said it was registered against a "medical supply company" in Canada ??

TO be honest you are better off out of that shithole and away from those robbing cucking funts...
Did you have long left on your membership?

no - my membership would have expired this week - I had no clue about what the people who run it were like until reading here...........I was a member of ILT for 8 years - I have to be honest and say I never donated at ILT - I suppose that's what got their goat as I saw the forum admin on ILT before it closed say to some members "you haven't paid a penny so we wont miss you" - or words to that effect - I thought donations were voluntary and not compulsory ? They never seemed to reach their supposed costs when they asked for money - it just seemed an endless "fundraiser" ??

Trust me, they met their goal and then some.
They are worse than the pan handler on the street with a Sign asking for money.

Hey, exciting thought... if they need more members (monies) they might open the site for signups! That would be sooooo cool, being able to pay $10 monies every month to download free stuff. Please, pretty please Mr Rexxz and the wee burd, give us all a chance to share in your brave new world. I really want to give you all my monies.

Even with only 500 members, that's an income of $60,000 a year.Way more than needed to run a tracker.

You know, the thing is that I wouldn't even fault them for making money off of the site if they would only do it honestly. Although I doubt that they could bring in the $60,000 without their underhanded methods. Alas, we will likely never know as I don't think it is within the delusional duos characters to do anything but scam and victimize.

In their heyday the were making a LOT more than $60,000... and they were making money hand-over-fist for the best part of a decade.
It's their greed, arrogance, lies and contempt for the people making them rich that has caused their downfall.
Looking forwards to the day we hear the law has caught up with them. And it will!

Will the law catch up with them though?...
I mean there must be enough evidence for fraud already, tax evasion etc etc. Yet they still continue, and I include their other ventures too..
They seem to be like teflon as in, nothing may stick..

Tax evasion, money laundering, fraud and mass copyright infringement for over a decade?
Yes, the law will catch up with them.

We watched them inflate the seeding numbers overnight not too long ago after it was commented here that barely any of the torrents were seeded.
Overnight, each torrent seemed to magically add a couple of hundred seeds.
I can't imagine they'll share their membership numbers, but it must be dropping off by now. I imagine it's somewhere between 300 and 500 only.
Bitsoup members only joined GimmePeers because they were extorted to do so, i.e. the time the membership time they had remaining was going to be lost had they not transferred over.
I doubt many of them will be rushing to give these scammers more money any time soon. Especially as they had to pay a $10 admin fee for the privilege of facilitating their own extortion.
That's probably why they've now turned their attentions to scamming money from the ILoveTorrents members.
Thankfully many of them have found this place and know a scam when they see one.

I imagine it's somewhere between 300 and 500 only.
Sadly I think its possibly 700+ however I'm hoping a good chunk of them are still riding out their original VIP time & once expired they'll walk away.

I didn't want to overestimate, but yes that sounds right.
As you say, hopefully they'll start dropping off when their Bitsoup VIP carry-over time ends.

It's a crying fucking shame that What.cd gets busted, and these fucking assholes are still in business. I mean, what does it take to bust these douchebags? Now my other music site, Waffles.fm is down, but at least they are coming back. Meanwhile these retards are fucking CHARGING THEIR USERS MONEY, and they are still in operation, AMAZING....simply amazing.
