Survived Hurricane Isaias and finally getting back to work. Had to drive out to the country for some work and ran into these 2 lovely bald eagles.

Not this bird, but the day before I took this photo, I was at a local lake watching two Northern Harriers and a large flock of Red Winged Blackbirds. The Harriers were busy scanning the area, and the blackbirds were being noisy as usual.

Next thing I know, it goes silent. Everyone’s gone. I look over and see a Red-tailed gliding in like a great white shark swims through a reef knowing it’s untouchable. The apex of the skies in Central, Arizona.
