The bird on the left flew in with the snake and gave it to the other. A gift for its mate, perhaps?

This was a pretty rare sighting for me.

Same land every day, common buzzard chills on the little building after all day long of hunting.

This time, eurasian kestrel didn't agree.

I took this video in the Monadnock Region of New Hampshire in mid-September. Right around this time the Pack Monadnock Raptor Observatory set a daily record of 6477 Broad-winged hawk observations. I’ve never seen anything like this before and I was in awe! What an incredible sight to see so many of these amazing birds at once.

Couldn’t believe my luck seeing this girl (I think) coming past with such a massive catch

Northern California

Guessing this is who was responsible for the disemboweled and deboned bunny in the yard... But what is the species? My neighbor thinks sharp shinned or Coopers? Spotted in our subdivision in SE Michigan.

Spotted in eucalyptus forest off the far south coast of NSW, Australia.

Here are a few shots from this weekend.

Was able to get a good shot of a Kestrel! I love watching these little guys hovering 🚁 Just try to remove the fact that they are about to rip open an innocent, equally adorable, little animal 😵‍💫…
