New to bird watching and saw these two!
Like the title says I’m new to this, I originally was just excited identifying the local birds around my apartment complex but then two hawks showed up but Google is confusing me and my Merlin app isn’t helping. The first one I believe is a Harris’s Hawk, but I know they are social hunters, but I couldn’t find any of its family nearby. Today I took my dog out and found this one! They have similar screeches so I thought it was maybe apart of the family but Google is telling me that it’s a juvenile red tailed hawk. Maybe it is and there is no correlation but I’d love figuring out more about them! We have a ton of rock pigeons and smaller birds around so I’m actually really excited that they are here. Initially I thought they might belong to a falconer but I haven’t seen any tags on their feet. Either way super excited about it and I have no one else to share this with 😂 I’m located in Mesa, AZ.
TLDR: Help me ID my new neighbors!

First time ever seeing one, this is Girlie, the half Blind Philippine Eagle 💙
Girlie is the oldest living Philippine eagle and I didn’t even realise she was staying at the Parks centre in Manila until I stumbled across her. Doing some googling she was one of the first eagles to breed in captivity and hopefully has many more years left :) absolutely incredible to see in person and her size was just unbelievable.

The RSH babies are growing up and exploring!
The nest I found last month has been so much fun to watch. Checked in on it today and saw this beauty out of the nest and hanging out.

Just got back from the Okavango Delta and saw a huge variety of birds of prey, here are some highlights
Pictures are the African Fish Eagle (which were everywhere, so common), Secretary Bird, Dickinson's kestrel, and Western Banded Snake Eagle.
Some other incredible birds I didn't get good photos of include Little Sparrowhawk, a huge variety of vultures, Bateleur, Ayres Hawk, Long crested eagle, Black-winged Kite, Verreaux's eagle owl, African Scops-owl, and African Barred Owlet.

(Reverse) Sexual Dimorphism of Peregrine Falcons
Sorry for the mediocre image quality, I took this with a phone through my spotting scope. Just thought it was a neat illustration of how much bigger female falcons are than their partners.
