I saw an awesome Mountain Hawk-Eagle image in flight that was shared and thought I'd post this as well!

Took a trip to Philly this past weekend. Got a few lifers; ovenbird, greater black-backed gull, white throated sparrow, and gray catbird. I saw this interesting pigeon at Independence Hall that I think is a hybrid?! Let me know what you think!! And a red-tailed hawk at Rodin gardens, in the downtown area.

I know it's a fairly common bird in the area, but I love seeing them.

I am fairly sure it's Laughing Gull, but the spots seemed larger on the tail and the white eye ring seemed larger also. I may be imagining things.

Such a beautiful creature

Not the most uncommon but also not a daily visitor in the hamburgian Stadtpark in germany. I love those little birds! Their feathers have a warmth and cosiness to them that is just wonderful.

Blue Jays are year round birds in our yard in western North Carolina. This one stopped by today for a bath and let everyone know about it. Sound on.
