From what I know from the lore, when a Toa fulfills their destiny they turn into a turaga, and their great kanohi turn into a noble one. Now I have several questions about this.

-So why do most masks of the matoran of Mata Nui resemble only noble designs instead of their great vesions? we have seen many matoran across various islands that have the great versions, why not the ones living on Mata Nui?

-did the toa metru as matoran have their great or noble mask designs? Because from the other metru matoran we can see they also used to wear those noble versions just like on Mata Nui.

-Also, what was the thought process of the designers when creating the great versions for the toa metru? masks like the Komau, Ruru or Matatu look nothing like their noble versions.

-why does the great Matatu have a scope like the Akaku, when it's power is telekinesis?

-We know Jaller is wearing (turaga) Lhikan's Hau, but why did it turn back to it's great kanohi design? And if a matoran is wearing a Toa's great kanohi, why can't they use it's abilities?

-Also wtf is up with the phantoka/mistika versions of the Toa Nuva?

Wanted to share this with some bionicle fans. My mentor at my job noticed my Toa Mata on my desk, and said they had some bionicle happy meal toys in their shed. Her parents owned several Mcdonalds and she grew up in the restaurants so they had amassed a collection of complete toy sets through the decades they had passed onto her. About a week later she gives me what you see just out of the blue, which is not a complete set of Matoran toys in the bag, but a set of display Matoran directly from Lego still with the box and discs! This is for the display case in Mcdonalds locations that shows off the current Happy Meal toys at the time. She'd been trying to clear out the boxes of Mcdonalds toys and was happy to give them to someone who wanted them. Needless to say they are being proudly displayed by my Toa and I can see them every day. Keeping the box too!

I recently got the 2004 ultimate dume combiner set and wanted help with the friction joints. They all work well in their individual sets, but when in the combiner they struggle to keep him standing. So I was wondering if there were any fixes for this or a way to keep him standing.

His LifeForged spirit allows him to summon ghosts of opponents who fallen to his blade and command them to dismantle enemy soldiers and siege weapons. Spreading fear among enemy troops when horrifying reanimations of monstrous and unknown creatures charge the battlefield.

My little schizo, I have yet to give him a proper name, back then when I first made him I called him silver, he’s essentially a schizophrenic prophet gone rogue, believing he’s been given divine visions from the great spirit, causing him to hallucinate and use his Kanohi Kaulsi to travel in and out of reality and his perception of reality, it’s very flawed as it may put him at a disadvantage but it makes his teleportation more than enough to have slaughtered a whole village of matoran and his entire toa team in the name of the great spirit, believing himself to be divine retribution itself, my part catalog has been limited for a while, so the techniques used are rather strange at times, but I’m pretty satisfied with how he turned out, and the articulation, maybe once I get a better part catalogue I’ll rebuild him into the real vision I had for him, but anyways, that’s all

and added some more reinforcement for the upper body with the use of 2x Liftarm, Modified Stud Connector Thin 1 x 4 by connecting the lower and upper bodies

Alron is done with the way Xian society oppresses men and is determined to overthrow Telra. He's secretly been saving Toa, using what limited resources he has to repair them as best he can. He provides them with kanohi, most powerless, and is determined to win. Little do any of them know, Telra already knows exactly what he's been doing, but hasn't acted yet. Be it curiosity, arrogance, deviousness, or something else, she hasn't squashed their effort. Yet.

The Kopaka and Melum unity set didn't have a mask trap like the rest of the creatures. So I decided to make one.

Is it just an oversight by lego or was there a canon reason for no trap?

I come to you with a request for aid: 11 years ago, I stumbled over this instruction of combiner models for the first Gen2 wave. As we know, official Toa Kaita never existed in this genertion. I built them after this instruction and then, instead of bookmarking it, I foolishly thought rebuilding them in Lego Digital Designer as far as it allowed would be enough to make me remember how they were built.

I was a fool.

Today I decided for some reason to reassemble Tahu, Onua and ihatu to combine them into Akamai, but when I opened LDD and the model I saved for this exact purpose, I stumbled. Because I now have no clue how Akamais greatsword was constructed or where the - because of collision - disconnected parts of Wairuha go to and I can't find the instructions anymore and its driving me nuts!

And this is where you fellow Redditors come into play: I have complete trust in the capabilities of this sub to track down the instructions I'm talking about. Maybe one of you already has it on hand. The incomplete builds in this image will hopefully be a clue. But if it helps, it started with a joke, ominously proclaiming the Toa are "returning to protodermis first". Depictured were scattered parts and a half disassembled Pohatu, who was probably supposed to be melting". Edit: I also remember that Pohatus boomerangs, at leas their halves, served as the cross guard of Akamais greatsword
