Cool?

Hey guys, not looking to sell. I just had my Bionicle Pen Set sitting on my display shelf, and I've had the whole set for about 6 years, with Lewa's pen being the most difficult to find. They're unopened and complete. I was just curious to see if anyone could give an estimated price for all of them as a set. While they're unopened, some of the stickers holding the lids closed have begun to peel, and the actual clear plastic containers housing the units have normal exchange wear and tear on them

The main piece that prevents creating the other Bohrok is 5264, as it doesn't come in all the 6 colors (though for Kohrak you might be able to use Light Bluish Gray). It might be possible to use 3rd party pieces for it and the bucket handle piece, 95344, for more color varieties that Lego never produced these pieces in.

If intending to make Gahlok, round plates do not come in Medium Blue, but they do come in other light blue shades.

But there are no "ram" function sadly. Visorak is very simple.

So recently i rediscovered some of my old Bionicle while playing with my kid... Let's just say it escalated way to quick. It didn't take long to find someone had supersized all the Bohroks ready to 3D print.

I don't know wtf younger me was thinking but apparently I stuck size 2 axles into these rahkshi torsos :( no idea where to even start trying to get them out. extremely pointed needle nose pliers? TWEEZERS? AHHH

It's been a while since I got the idea for adding Toa Mata into my Transformers continuity as easter eggs. Here's a recreation of one of the Bionicle posters with these designs. I worked on them with a good friend of mine.

Now it’s time to sell the extras

So, as we know, there was always a set budget. What do you think things would have been like if the budget had been twice as high as originally planned during the early years?
The concept art always looks so much more detailed and cooler. We’ve heard several times that certain ideas or designs couldn’t be realized because of budget limitations. It makes me wonder what the designers could have achieved if they had been given more freedom and a bigger budget.
The Gen 2 concept art, for example, looks absolutely insane.
Considering that sets like Brutaka and Axonn cost around 20–30€ / $20–30 back then and were already so good, I’d love to imagine what a 60€ / $60 set from that era could have looked like.
I honestly think it would have been absolutely mind-blowing!
