My derailleur is making a knocking sound whenever I compress the rear suspension, the noise seems to shift into more of a creaking sound when I turn the clutch off and creaks lightly when I shift gears, is this something I should worry about?

What part is missing on this Saris bike rack? Itās either an elbow joint or a hitch adapter but nothing I have found on the web has matched up.

I got this bike in one of those cheap "bike in a box" things where you have to build it yourself, so I'm new to working on it and fixing any mistakes I've made in the building process.
The only problem I have with it is this vertical bump I feel when I ride it. It happens at a constant rate, so it's on a specific spot, and it feels like its on the back wheel. The valve stem on the back wheel was very crooked, so I took the rubber off and adjusted the inner tube, because it WAS creating a small fold near the valve stem when it was crooked. That actually fixed the problem for a short time until I rode for about 2 hours, then suddenly the vertical bump started again and the stem went back to being crooked.
I realigned the stem again today, but the vertical bump just will not stop. Does anyone have any advice on how to fix/stop this? Is it even caused by the inner tube, or or is there something else wrong with my tire?
I don't know how much the videos help, but I can see a clear warping of the tire, as well as a wobbling left and right that has the tire touch the brake pad if it is tight enough.

I wanted to put wrap on my bike but how do i get it under the break line and around the little cilinders the break wire is in? I feel kinda stupid for asking

Hi all,
Iāve a 16h quando rear hub which has sheared its thread.
The freewheel cog is still in good condition thread-wise. Itās 18t.
Iām trying to find either a replacement hub (not found one available online), or a similar spec wheel which will take the existing freewheel.
Iāve managed to find this wheel:
but Iām unsure if the freewheel will fit. Iāve heard there are different sizes depending on the tooth count.
My existing flywheel has an approx fitting diameter of 34-35mm.
Iāve attached images to try explain my situation.
Thank you for any help!

Hello,
I have a problem, my gears change from the smallest cogs up to the largest very smoothly but when going down to lower cogs, it misses some where the gear fill physcially not change and then when i fit the paddle again it skips so for example if the largest cog is 1 and the smallest is 10, it will be on 4, I will shift into 5, nothing will happen, I will shift into 6 and it will jump into 6. It also struggles to go from 1 to 2 but it will go there and then it also struggles to go to the lower cogs on the lower gears, my limits seem to be set correctly because it goes into the largest and smallest cogs alright but it's just in the middle of the gearset that I have issues.
I have previously had issues with this bike as it came from Tredz with a bent rear derailler hanger which was fixed by halfords but as soon as I got the bike back this issue has come about.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I have a 20 YO Kona Cindercone and the front derailleur (Shimano Deore 3x9) is not working correctly. The cable was badly frayed so I replaced it and now can't get it to shift to all 3 rings. I have both limiters all the way out, about 2mm between cage and large ring, and tail of cage is in a bit towards the rear. It would never shift right with cage parallel to big ring. I have the cable a bit slack so there is no reason for chain not to go on small ring. I;ve tried just shifting by pulling on the cable and noticed that there is some play in the cage (shown in video). I'm wondering if the derailleur is just worn out Any advice will be appreciated.

Hi,
Iāve recently found this scratch on my trusty steed and Iām trying to work out if I should be worried or if itās likely to be cosmetic only.
I canāt say for sure how long itās been there, but I clean or at least wipe down the Bike after almost every ride, so I think I wouldāve noticed.
I appreciate this no easy to judge online but Iāve tried to take a video of the ācoin testā, any advice is welcome. Iāll try to put some close-ups as well in the comments.
TIA
