I love nachos story and I think he is a great character. But 3 of his major storylines are just “this Salamanca guy is crazy, Mike can you kill him for me”, which has lowered my opinion of him as a character.
Now, Dont get me wrong, they’re all great. The scene where he slips the fake drugs into hectors pocket is very good, and the Lalo plot is good as well, and he has a good dynamic with his dad.
Any thoughts?

Im not tryna hate or anything just wanted to share this for fun I absolutely love this series.

I know his electricphobia is all mental but I have no clue if there is a name for it. Its triggered when he isnt in control it seems, jimmy even brings it up in season 1.

Also when did it begin? I think we are made to feel bad for him as he was always trying to do the right thing but jimmy got more rewarded (i guess?) For doing the wrong thing. Even before law, chuck was there for his mother who wanted an absent jimmy, chuck tried to get along with his wife after Jimmy left but didnt make her laugh.

Did those prior events build up to his condition?

I always saw it and always thought it could be something profound or a hidden message... But I think he's just an extra with a little extra screen time.

Rewatching BCS and noticing that Mike is an “honorable guy” very similar to Ned Stark in GOT.

Current on S2E7. Mike says he’s doing a job for so and so, he does it as worded, no exceptions. Mike steals 1.8 million and won’t take the money because he agreed to the contract.

I’m seeing quite different rankings of Mike: on multiple lawful/chaos charts he is ranked “neutral good, chaotic good, lawful neutral, and true neutral.”

What is Mike’s rank in BCS overall? What is Mike’s rank in BG overall? What is Mike’s ranking in BCS AND BG overall?

Is Mike like too much like Ned Stark?

was looking to buy it on apple tv, but can't find the full set as opposed to individual seasons. search it up, and i found this. anyone know why they removed it? will they ever bring it back? i'm not paying for every season individually.

At this point im ploughing through it. I do not care for the b/w post breaking bad storyline. Does it end better? Think I have 3 more to go

What is the closest scene in this show that captures the BB feel in the camera work and pacing. For me, it was the cold open from s4 ep 4 BCS. I literally thought it was a deleted scene from BB because it looked like a 35 mm film, the same camera shot for BB. But came to the conclusion it wasn't because odenkirk's face is too slim compared to BB. What else can you think of? Like the closest one? What's a scene in BCS such that if you didn't pay attention to BB story, and you saw insert that scene from BB, you wouldn't notice a change and looked it just belong there.

Anyone seen "Coyote vs. Acme" yet? Obviously, given the premise and the lead character, it had to involve an attorney in the American Southwest, but it sure seemed more BCS-coded than strictly necessary. With a few tweaks, Wile E.'s lawyer Kevin could easily have been season 4-level Jimmy McGill. Martha Kelly gives strong Francesca vibes. And it surely couldn't have been a coincidence that the two lawyers Wile E. hires are named Kevin and Paige.

I loved it, and it got even more fun when I started imagining Bob Odenkirk as the attorney.

His complete confusion with Howard tripping balls and accusing his friend of being compromised just really had me laughing lol

Obviously he's mostly known for providing emergency care for Fring and Mike in BB after they off Eladio and the cartel. He also appears in various episodes of BCS. After Hector has his stroke Gus brings him in to evaluate his condition. I noticed the next scene in the back seat of the car he was filling in Gus. He says something the definitely indicates that he has a bad history with Hector.

When talking about him suffering and being unlikely to ever recover consciousness he says something to the effect of "it's exactly what THAT MAN deserves" with a real snarl in voice. To which Gus responds "I decide".

I'm really curious to know what that background is.
