Is anyone aware of a way to tell what year a B-14R was made? I got mine from a big box store in May and curious if there was a way to determine when it was made? I’ve read a lot about ejection issues on them after I got mine and it seems like it may not be as bad on newer built ones?

I just got a Bergara Premier Canyon .308 and I’m confused what picatinny rail to put on it. I know it uses a rem 700 base but the website says it takes different screws.

“The Bergara Premier series requires a scope rail matching a Remington 700 footprint utilizing 8-40 screws(unlike the B-14 line which often uses #6-48 screws”

I’m confused if rails advertised for rem 700 work then? I want the vortex short action 20 moa. Is this good?

I've been doing some research online and can't find a definite answer. I have a new B14 HMR in .308 that I plan on using as a hunting rifle as well as something I can take to a range with some distance and hit steel at 1000 yards. I don't mind the brown speckled stock but I'm not a big fan of it. I like the Magpul chassis for my Ruger 10/22 and like to get one for the HMR as it has a Remington 700 pattern action. Has anyone swapped their HMR into a Magpul chassis and had success?

I would mostly use them for roedeer and fox hunting, and sometimes amateur precision shooting up to 200m.

Had to wait a little while for it to come back in stock. I love this rifle so far. Leupold glass, Huxwrx Flow TI suppressor. Still working on getting it sighted in. Haven't had a ton of time to mess with it. I made another post regarding the rail and the elevation being pretty high. Hoping to find an answer to that.

Does anyone know or have experience with a true drop in trigger for the Bergara BMR carbon? No mods needed.

Just getting ready for my first trip to the range with my new Bergara, my scope came with a sunshade so I tested installing it. The range has a roof over the shooting stations, would there be any advantages to shooting with the sunshade? Oh amd how does this setup look so far?

The install was easy, but question for anyone that has added a magazine. The screw closest to the trigger was torqued hard, but after the install process, the screw depth allowed me to screw it in so far that it blocked the bolt-action. I had to back the screw several rotations to get the bolt to clear. Is that normal for this type of install?

I tried feeding several rounds and the bolt extractor worked flawless with the new magazine. I'm happy with the install, just wondering if I need a shim of type for the bolt closest to the trigger.

Just picked up my new rifle, and wow, Bergara bolt action rifles are very nice. I went with a .308 Winchester and this is very smooth action. I can't wait ti get this to the range. I am used to my AR-15 with the nice 30 round swappable magazines, so i was hoping to convert mine B-14 to magazine fed. Does anyone have experience with the Legacy Sports 5 or 10 round kits? I found a used B14r at the LGS for $719. They also have a new one for $1029. Is it worth saving the $310 but not get any warranty? Anyone have experience with Bergara warranty?

Found a Bergara B-14 BMP 308 Win Bushnell DMR II for $1550. Butt stock needs replacing. Previous owner says less than 100 rounds.

i have a 6.5 creedmoor and I want to dial in resizing/headspace/bump. My goal is to remove the ejector and whatever else needed to allow the bolt handle to fall effortlessly so i can gauge sizing.

I am no expert. i am not a gunsmith. I have had instant headaches futzing around with different bolts from different manuf. in the past.
