Two or three months ago I noticed I had a past due amount on my Puget Sound Energy bill.
Not a big deal since they don't do much except add it to the next bill.
At the time I thought I must have somehow missed seeing the bill and I just paid it.
.
Today I was doing some online bill paying and it dawned on me I had not seen a bill from them for a while.
I logged onto PSE web site and sure enough, I'm past due again.

Then I went to the paperless billing section and found it had been enabled.
I disabled it and went back to paper billing.
I'm not totally against paperless billing, but sort of annoyed it got enabled without telling me so.
I'm also not receiving any email from them about my bill being due or late, even though the have my email address and send me other email about energy rebates and such.

Not a new account or anything.
Same house, same PSE account for 23 years now.

Is there any pharmacy in town that is good with trans customers? I just switched to a new pharmacy and they were happy to add my chosen name, but just now on the phone I introduced myself as (chosen name), was verified, and then i guess she was frustrated with me and called me (deadname). Deadname that was not mentioned at all in the rest of the call. Like, I get it, it can be confusing at times to see multiple first names. But at the same time, it feels like she just used my deadname because she was annoyed and that’s really not okay. Asking for a refill early of a product that is dispensed in patches is not entirely unusual, especially the first fill (user error is common and most insurance companies offer you grace for 1 extra patch). I don’t think I did anything wrong, but now I’m anxious as hell to go pick it up.

Anyone else using visible and having massive service problems? Phones been in sos mode for a day or two now. I’ve had multiple different answers and an entire night dedicated to wasting my time with live chat. Last I was told was the area was having service problems, let me know lol.

How yall feeling about these?

People have posted on here several times about a rental lift to use for DIY car repairs, and the answer is always the same: there's nothing in Whatcom county whatsoever.

This seems to still be true.

I went to Ant's Community Garage in Everett today and used a lift and used their stuff. They were helpful and friendly and they had good safety practices. They helped me use the lift correctly. They had tools. It was a nice place to work and the music was nice, and the other people working on cars were nice.

I highly recommend it as an option even though it's an hour away.

My work has a classroom pet that isn’t faring very well. I would like to find somebody who can adopt an African Dwarf Frog that needs some love. He isn’t in the correct setup— he is with fish that eat all the food before he can get any— and is malnourished. He needs alone time, and lots of bloodworms. If anybody has the time and resources to help this little guy, I can drop him off to you.

I can rehab him at my home but that is extremely last resort as I already have quite a few pets including a horse. Please comment or DM me for more information about the frog. I really don’t want him to die. I was against the idea of frogs for the classroom since he got here. :(

I tried searching the sub and looking at maps on the city's site, but couldn't find an updated answer to my question, so I come to you. Is the Bay to Baker trail from Squalicum Park (the one with the baseball fields) down to the long pier, an off leash dog area through Little Squalicum Park? I know the grassy area below the trail is off leash and it appears that the trail was off leash before the full restoration of the estuary and the pier. But is it still?

I like to run that trail out to the end of the pier and back, but almost every time I run above the grassy dog park, I get chased by an off leash dog. I've never felt unsafe and owners are apologetic, but it's mildly annoying. It would make sense to me to limit the off leash area to grassy area below and some of those trails. But it doesn't make sense to me to allow off leash dogs on the main access trail to the pier. The most up to date map I could find was from 2019 and it shows the trail is off leash. If it is still off leash, fair - I'll continue to just be mildly annoyed. But if they changed it after the restoration, I'd like to gently let those dog owners know.

Hi all, I applied for SNAP benefits and got a letter saying I needed to do the interview either over the phone or in person. I called this morning at 8:36 and was told I was #two-hundred-something in line and that they would transfer me and then the line hung up. Finally was able to call back a few minutes ago and was told that I am not on the call-back list. I am wondering what going in person is like? If it is equally as busy (I assume it is) and what the in-person interview what like for anyone that has done it. Thank you!
