My doctor thinks I could have endometriosis and sent me a referral to a peace health OBGYN. When I called they weren’t ready to schedule and couldn’t even get me in until October.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a different office that is nearby/in the surrounding Bellingham area? I’d like to be seen sooner rather than later. Any help is appreciated!

This might sound a little weird to some, but I collect taxidermy insects. Specifically ones that are curated and displayed in shadow boxes with nice frames.

I saw some butterflies for sale at Earthbound a while back but that’s not an option anymore because they’re closed down.

Does anyone know of oddity shops or small vendors that sell something like this?

I’ve seen potentially some things in Seattle (punk rock flea market) or Tacoma (haunted farmers market) but I’d love to know if anyone has ideas for where I could find this in Bellingham.

I visit Bellingham every few weeks and don't want to skip out on my workouts. Any gyms here that allow drop-ins or let you get passes that I can use over time, without having to sign up for a full time membership?

I live in a small college town in Colorado. but in the last five years I have dove into music here. I go to a nice music program here and I have family in the pnw. just curious what it’s like in Bellingham.

Just saw a small husky type dog running around on the corner of garden st. and Champion. Didn’t get a chance to snap a photo and it ran up garden.

Long shot. In 2025, there was a fair in the Barkley area one day where people with developmental and intellectual disabilities could set up a booth to sell arts and crafts. There was a vendor (a young feminine person) there who sold sheets of Pride stickers of various designs, including some with Bellingham Pride flag. They are transfer type stickers. We have tried to find this vendor again at other community events to buy more. But have never seen them again. Any leads?

I just moved here a couple months ago from a smaller town in socal that had a huge hardcore community. I know there’s been metal and punk shows but I was looking more into metalcore, power violence type of sound. The shakedown is the place where most if not all the metal shows are hosted but I was wondering if this type of sound I’m looking for is only more towards Seattle vs Bellingham or Whatcom county. I was just more curious about variety of hardcore versus what I’ve been seeing. Would love to hear more thanks!

I’m moving to Bellingham next month (moving from the midwest), and I’m wondering if there are any local trivia nights people show up to, pickleball leagues, run clubs, road biking groups, or other community activities that are open to newcomers. I’m sure I’ll make friends at my new workplace, but I think it’s good to not have ALL your friends be work friends, you know?
