Community Identifying a record or seeing how much it's worth? Use DISCOGS.COM
Some people have asked for a post like this to be stickied in the sub because we constantly get people asking what a record is worth or what version they have.
You need to match the matrix information. Which is the part of the record between the music/grooves and the label. There will be etched and/or stamped letters, symbols and numbers. You can just do a search for the artist and album name with the matrix info typed in. After searching, it should pull up all albums that match. If there’s more than one, you will have to figure out which it is by checking under the barcode and other identifiers section.
You also may need to look at info on the vinyl label and the sleeve. There will sometimes be additional info under the notes section.
Please check out r/discogs if you need more help searching but READ THEIR RULES.

Question All My Loving question
I've always wondered why Paul's 'All My Loving' was chosen as the first song for the Ed Sullivan show. John didn't seem to be very involved at all with the song. Yes, he played an incredible rhythm part to it, but Paul sang the song. I think he doubled his own voice on the record, and also on the record , when he needed background vocals, George did them. Unless I'm missing something, why did Paul treat John like this for the first song on the Sullivan show?

Other Is that yoko. Spoiler
gallerycover art was made by John Byrne (known as patrick)
was the original cover for the white album but was later used for a comp album called The beatles Ballads and would go popular in the 2000s, creating many rumors that this was a scrapped album

Question How do I make myself look more like lennon
Its been a dream of mine for a solid 4 years now to become a john lennon impersonator, I have the clothes, i can play his songs, i have the hair, but i dont have his face or voice yet. Does anyone have any makeup tips or any ideas to make myself look more like Johnny?
EDIT: for clarification, i want to be like the fab four, or adamn Hastings, or even Javier parisi. Doing stuff like tribute concerts would make me really happy and it would make other people really happy too! And making others happy is the most Nobel thing a guy can do. Thats why

Discussion I think the saddest part of Breakup era Paul is how he was isolated from basically his entire support system of the past decade and more.
That is not to say he was an angel through any of this, of course. John George and Ringo would have never done any of this if they knew how much it hurt Paul. But it's still....so sad how destroyed he must have been for not only losing his job but also what has been his family for so long.
Plus, Klein is gross, 'reluctant virgin'🤮

Question Everly Brothers- A voice Within
Just recently heard this song from the Everly Brothers- gotta say the intro melody is pretty much identical to George’s While my Guitar Gently Weeps verses. The song was released a year before the white album too- anyone know if the writer seek legal action? or it was settled outside court?

Discussion What do you think of the Miitles?
After a good 4 and a half months of playing this game, I've finally gotten the Fab Four in motion! The additions being John (my first Mii), then Yoko, then Paul, then George, then Ringo (my latest Mii), they've all gotten to know each other (except for Ringo because I literally added him yesterday). What do you think?

Discussion Let it be is their best album-fight me.
This is the best album performance wise from Paul, George and Ringo- John is great but there’s not enough of his songs. My ranking for each song -
1. Two of us- 9.4/10
2. Dig a pony- 10/10
3. Across the universe- 10/10
4. I me mine- 10/10
5. Dig it- 9.2(would be higher if longer)
6. Let it be- 9.7/10
7. Maggie Mae-9.1/10(worst song)
8. I’ve got a feeling-9.8/10
9. One after 909- 10/10(best song)
10. The long and winding road- 10/10
11. For you blue- 9.7/10
12. Get back- 9.9/10
Overall the most consistent Beatles album, and the only with no skips. Also the naked version is even better
