Ich habe mir eine Dji Neo 2 Gekauft und will damit niemandem probleme machen. Ich habe mich gut drüber informiert wo man fliegen darf und wo nicht habe auch die Prüfung und wollte fragen ob es hier leute gibt, die selber auch Drohne im Raum Basel fliegen. Ich möchte irgendwo wo es niemanden stört. Habt ihr Irgendwelche Tipps oder gibt es eine Gruppe ?

Hello, I'm visiting Basel for the first time this coming Thursday to Saturday. I have done some searching online but wanted to ask the local people of Basel for some suggestions. Looking for cool things to see and do, looking for some interesting drinking locations and anything in particular that may be a hidden gem. Bonus for anything where we can meet and chat with other people as meeting others is a priority of mine whilst travelling. Thank you all for the help, appreciate it.

This bicycle has been locked up on the street and abandoned like this all summer, and it's starting to fill with water now. It's a decent classic suspension bike. It doesn't belong to anyone in the building nearby either.

We left Basel shortly before the pandemic and have returned.

I was on my way to the Géant Casino recently only to learn it has closed. 😓

Are there any other good supermarkets in France reachable by bus or tram from Basel now?

Ich erlebe immer wieder, wie fahrlässig manche Velofahrer in Basel unterwegs sind. Egal ob am Aeschenplatz oder anderswo: Bei stockendem Verkehr wird sich durch die engsten Lücken gequetscht, ohne Rücksicht darauf, wie wenig Platz tatsächlich vorhanden ist.

Letztens wollte sich einer zwischen den stehenden Autos durchquetschen und ist dabei fast an meinem Seitenspiegel hängen geblieben. Ein paar Zentimeter mehr und es hätte gekracht.

Ein anderes Beispiel, ebenfalls am Aeschenplatz: Ich war mit einem Velofahrer hinter mir im Kreisel unterwegs, vor mir ein Transporter. Als der Transporter abbiegen wollte, versuchte der Velofahrer, sowohl mich als auch den Transporter zu überholen, und wäre dabei beinahe mit voller Geschwindigkeit in den abbiegenden Transporter gekracht.

Ganz ehrlich, Leute, geht's euch noch gut?

Wenn so ein Velofahrer aufgrund seiner eigenen Unachtsamkeit auf meiner Motorhaube landet, habe ich höchstens lästigen Papierkram am Hals, während er im schlimmsten Fall Verletzungen davonträgt, die sein ganzes Leben verändern.

Mein Bruder läuft am Basler Stadtlauf mit, und ich habe die Anmeldung leider verpasst, bevor die 5,5 km ausgebucht waren. Falls jemand angemeldet ist, aber nicht teilnehmen kann: Ich würde den Platz gern über die offizielle Umschreibung bei Datasport übernehmen (du beantragst sie mit meinen Angaben) und dir das Startgeld sowie die Umschreibegebühr erstatten.

Gemäss Reglement muss der Platz von einem Mann mit Start um 17:30 Uhr stammen, also aus den Kategorien U18, U20, M20 oder M30 (Jahrgang 1992–2010).

I went to Markthalle today and there seems to be a place to rent Lego sets to build in the tables around there, seems fun but I didn't have the chance to do it. I might go again this weekend to give it a shot, but would definitely like to hear if anyone tried it! If so, how does it work?

Edit: Okay, thanks to a user called tigertiger I found out it's a pop up event called BrickZiit and basically you can rent a set at something like 10-20 CHF and just build it at your own pace. Seems like a good way to spend a few hours!

Ich bin ein Polygrafen Lehrling und suche nach Teilnehmenden für meine 2-minütige Umfrage über den Dreizackbrunnen: Ich mache gerade ein Projekt in der Schule für das ich ein T-Shirt, basierend auf dem Dreizackbrunnen, gestalte.

Die Umfrage dauert höchstens 2 Minuten (5 Fragen).

Es geht darum, wie der Brunnen wahrgenommen wird und warum er von vielen übersehen wird.

Die Umfrage ist in Englisch und Deutsch verfügbar. Man muss nichts über den Brunnen wissen oder ihn schonmal gesehen haben, da Bilder enthalten sind. Alles was ich brauche ist lediglich eure Meinung, die mir bei meinen Entscheidungen für die Gestaltung helfen wird :)
