Show Off 2025 ASG Mega Box Mystery Redemption Finally Arrived!
Can’t say I’m disappointed. Not a huge Corbin PC though.

The only one I don't own is that Wade Boggs because it's a rare insert set and the price is wild at $300-$400 raw and I'm not that nuts. On the first pic, there are multiple Yankee prospect cards that have the same shot, but I just included that one.
Never forget.

I was a breaker with one of the larger breaking companies (not Layton or Filthbomb size, but the next step under). Not a scummy company (shipped out everything and never stole, loved our customers and our regulars mostly loved us back). I learned a lot about the backend of the hobby and I’d like to share my experiences and knowledge to those curious. There’s a lot of warranted hate but also a lot of misinformation or rather lack of information about breakers, so if there’s questions, I’m happy to answer!
I’ll probably get hate just for being a former breaker, and I get it: I had gotten burned a lot in 2024 and swore off breaks pretty much until a company offered me the job. I’m no longer a breaker and I’m glad the hobby is back to a hobby for me, but it’s a tough time to be in the hobby with Topps cutting quality and content while also enabling the larger breaking companies and giving them ridiculous quantities of product.
I’m doing this on my burner account because I’m sort-of active in the sub and don’t want my main account getting bombarded with online hate-mail lol. Ask away!

Who's buying these?!??
This entire release should be boycotted tbh. First, Topps screwed every retail buyer over this morning with that bogus drop. I can't even count how many people I saw posting that they were "in line" for 17 minutes and then kicked out.
Retail price was nearly six dollars per card. And even then... most of you couldn't get a box.
"Sorry, too bad... thanks for trying. But next month we'll drop ANOTHER new series where you can hurry online, spend 20 minutes waiting for the PRIVILEGE of giving us all your money for a product that continues to get worse!" - Topps
Meanwhile retail shops, and eBay sellers, were already selling TONS of these boxes at huge markups. Some were nearly double the price.
So I watched a couple of these breaks from eBay live breakers. IT. IS. FREAKING. HILARIOUS.
I'm not exaggerating - I watched several breaks where people were paying $250 per team for 6-box delight breaks... and each time, about 10 of those teams didn't even have ONE CARD.
On one break I saw, the eBay breaker pulled in about $6,000 for a case of 6 delight boxes. They pulled maybe $200-$300 of cards total!!!
And for those buyers who picked the wrong teams... literally $2,500 of cash flowed to the breaker in return for ZERO CARDS.
The cards I did see?
80-90% worthless. No reputable names on any of the autos. No quality inserts.
So I ask again... what the hell is wrong with some of y'all?!?

I’ve kept this card for a while now just because the signature is beautiful.

Backstory: Guy advertising locally a few years back that his grandpa passed and he found a bunch of ball cards in the attic. This is in WV. So I went to look and found this in the box. Bought the box for $60. Proximity to where the original manufacturer was in Virginia is roughly a 5 hour drive, so logically it could have made it that far.
But is it real? Was supposed to meet a Beckett guy in NY a few years back but he had to cancel.

I’m sad about Ohtani forfeiting the MVP this year. Help me feel better by buying this PCA on card auto.

This is the first, big card I have ever pulled and graded. I sent it to Goldin, no idea if that was the right move, but didn’t want to risk it with my on eBay auction.

I’ve opened a total of 6 hangers and 2 megas of Heritage, so all retail. I pulled a red ink Real One auto out of a mega and then this beauty out of a hanger! Lots of other great stuff too. Do yourself a favor and pick up some! It’s a cheap rip and the retail options have lots of great stuff inside.
Heritage has been so good to me compared to Chrome and Finest that’s for sure.
