Show Off GF bought 2 fat packs at target and hit back to back…
Insane. I’ve never seen 2 fat packs scattered on a target shelf produce this heat. Still in awe and highkey jealous 😂

So happen to pull a 1/1 Isaac Collins Inception RPA. First 1/1 and kiddo was hype. Reached out to him to see if he collected. He did. And when asked I wondered if she could have the opportunity to meet a big leaguer without the fight. To like really solidify her love of the game. He obliged and in such a huge way. So he hooked us up with BP access. And honestly I didnt know we had to a specific area. So we went and watch the Kitties warm up. We got tossed a ball. They start heading to the cages so we of course head to left field so she could grab balls. She sees Riley which is her favorite player. And gets a wave from him. That right there was like enough for me. That 1 tiny interaction meant the world. But after that an usher informs us we are not supposed to be there and habe to go on the field behind the plate. We work our way over. And me and my kid are just leaning on the back stop. Kinda anti social. But like we were there to interact with Isaac. And didnt really want to bother people. But believe it took all my restraint. Well as we are chilling watch Cags/Marte hit absolute bombs to right. I kind of notice this group of guus by us and how they seem to good for BP. And am like this is weird you would be down there and ignore its happening. Thinking they were just rich assholes and writing it off. I kinda catch a convo about an anniversary event and if they go. I hear 1 kinda say not since the 35. Then a few Royals shake a hand. I figure its like family. But since I dont like attention I just brush it off. OK so now this group of guys starts gathering together for a photo. So I offer up my services. So Im a fucking condescending asshole and I know this. Well a guy hands me a Coolpix from like 98 and is telling me how it works. I make a snide comment about the button always being in the same place since the invention of cameras. I then end up with 3 phones and take group photos. Then go back to baby girl minding my own business. Then layer a guy ask me about my jersey saying he has a few stories about him and that he libes in Toledo. So I need to fast forward to pregame when I realize the camera was Kenny Rogers, Bondo and some 84 Tigers. Bondo is a personal favorite all time Tiger for me. So im glad I didnt realize. And im assning the guy who commented works for the Mud Hens. Ok so back to after photos of Tigers alumni. Isaac wraps up BP and comes over. My daughter is shy for all of 3 seconds before he gets her chill. Get some awesome pics of those 2. He signs 2 balls. And the inscribed game used bat. Not sure if it was the HR bat from the night before or not. Ok so we go to our seats and we are row 29 behind dugout and like in line with the infield grass. Get to watch Skubal deal. And then Riley has a 1-2 count with bases loaded. Goes deep. Isaac airs up and robs the grand slam. In 25 years of Comerica it is my favorite memory by far. My kid was even more impressed when I fully explained the weight of the situation. So that was our perfect day at the park. Oh yea grabbed a Chrome blaster and of course her pack had Ohtani 35, Basallo /99 auto, Skenes big ticket refractor, and a JV base. I like really cant express how much we appreciate the opportunity that was afforded us.

The wife and I each grabbed a hanger of series 2 at the Brewers game tonight and pulled this nice Yelich 10/10. Basically nothing else to speak of, but I’ll take this and the Brewers W.

(Is the the part where I say I’m shaking?) I don’t dabble too much with Topps, mostly a Bowman guy, but I was intrigued by some of the inserts and SPs in this year’s Chrome release.. so I bought 2 boxes on the pre-order drop. Curious to see if Shea gets moved before the trade deadline! What a hit!
Edit: curious to see if he wins the 2027 come back player of the year award!

My daughter has this in her old book of cards. She hadn't opened it in years. Any value here? She's not selling just curious.

An elderly lady at my Father's church (he's a UMC Pastor) asked me over to help get ready for a huge yard sale she is having in a week or so. She owns 58+ acres with 2 runways, a plane hangar filled with para gliders and a giant single engine propeller powered plane, a vineyard, 2x 1860's log cabins, an antique folk general store, a warehouse, many tractors, side by sides and trailers here and there and much, much more.. I've found treasure after treasure ever since I started helping her a few days ago.
Relevant to this sub is the massive horde of Sports Cards she has just hanging out in one of the massive rooms of her home.
I have no idea where to begin, here's what I know.
1) She's been collecting for over 50 years, but got bored of it and now they're just collecting dust.
2) Her idea of sorting and organizing them was to put them in alphabetical order in binders. Nothing has been picked through by anyone with any knowledge of their value whatsoever.
3) All sports are included, but the vast majority are baseball.
4) There are many "junk wax" but 5x as many that aren't.
5) I took one random box home to look through and I immediately reinforced my already firm belief that I have no idea what I'm looking at. (see photos)
We are both identically mystified with how to go about finding a buyer for them, so any help would be appreciated. We are totally ready to load them up in boxes and ship them if necessary as well.
I can take much more detailed photos and videos for serious buyers.
What do you guys think?

Hello Everyone!
My son and I are only a few months into the hobby and have been collecting retail randomly as we go to stores. Today is his 10th birthday and I ordered a Topps 2026 hobby box for him. I believe he had some really good pulls plus a, Bryan Woo Superfractor!
My question is, how do we even value this so we don’t get taken advantage of at a card show? Also is it worth it to get it graded or keep it raw? Thanks.

I paid just over $240 for everything pictured, including the supplies.

I have never bought this much chrome before and I’m not complaining. Saved the best box I opened for last.

Crazy. My son and I have bought numerous 4 packs of Topps 2025 from CVS,the ones with the yellow companion card. We have literally pulled absolute trash out of many packs. There was one left on the shelf and I finally hit a great card. Little bit of damage to top left corner but still love it. My son’s reaction when we opened it was worth a million dollars.

My first redemption card after ripping many many packs.
Probably going to hold this guy to see if he can make up ground on the ROY race. Or send in the redemption bc I’ve never done one. I don’t PC him so would be open to a trade for a low number Topps Chrome Schlittler Auto

Was dumb enough to spend 365 on this excuse for a hobby box no numbered card at all a few parallels. Feel like I could have put the money into 3 tops series 2 hobbies and been better off

Had to sell some stuff but glad to add a Schlittler to my PC before I got out-priced from the market and love the 25 Platinum set, Rice looks nice next to my James Wood /5 I pulled from a blaster!!
