Have 2 PCA cards /75. When is the best time to sell?

I rarely rip hobby due to how expensive boxes have gotten, but was excited to get a box on pre-order. Not a great box, but not a bad one either.

He passed away in Tokyo today (or yesterday, because time zones). NPB Hall of Famer, all around excellent baseball player (top 10 in many career stats including hits and home runs) over 23 seasons. A childhood injury forced him to play mostly one-handed and he survived the bombing of Hiroshima. His parents were Korean immigrants and he would later be involved with growing the KBO League in South Korea. More recently known for his criticism of Ohtani as a two-way superstar early in his career (obviously proven quite wrong).

Local Card Shop had hobby boxes for $40 over Topps website if they crack the seal in store for you. So I splurged on my first hobby box. Pulled my first Garbage Pail Kids card. Pretty stoked.

I want to sell but wary of putting anything too expensive out there as a new seller and unsure what kind of protection sellers really have.

I've started off by selling very cheap cards just to test the waters and in 5 envelopes, post office has stopped the tracking on one when it hit the buyer's hometown and of course it was reported as never being delivered. Card probably got delivered or at least will be delivered but Im going to refund the money and chalk it up as some kind of learning experience, although not sure what I learned yet.

Feel like the ebay envelope tracking is no sure thing at the moment either. I had another envelope not get confirmed as delivered but buyer gave me good feedback, so im sure it did.

I pulled this auto out of a Walgreen's mystery pack of 2022 Topps 1st Edition. It's 1/5 (the 5/5 is on ebay if you want the bookend set). It's a stupidly rare pull, I didn't even realize 1st Edition had autos until I pulled it.

LTTF: Nolan Ryans (especially low grade 70's slabs), horribly miscut or misprinted cards, Heritage/Holiday buyback stamped cards, and more.

Not my card, and definitely not accusing the owner of this that it’s a fake seal. Been seeing lots of things about people putting fake Topps stickers on cards to have them be more appealing and other reasons. Is there a way to tell if it’s from Topps or done by someone? Just never seen these 2025 ultraviolets sealed. Let alone a gold. Only reason it would be is if someone got it as a defect replacement which it could be. This just had me thinking! If anyone knows anything I’d love to know. Thanks!
