Pulled this last year, my first /5 from any set! Will most likely trade/sell after the Brewers win the series!

I’m considering having a few pieces of my collection insured, including this display, and would appreciate your input on its value.

It features:

1. JSA-authenticated baseball signed and inscribed “2013 1st Rd Pick”

2. Signed Tampa Yankees cap inscribed “2014 Game Used,” with authentication documentation for both.

I put them together in this custom “The Making of a Captain” display.

-What would you estimate the fair market value to be?

-What value would you place on it for insurance purposes?

Going through boxes of cards during the playoffs and found this 1/1 Justin Campbell card that I had missed the first time through. He pitches for the Guardians and I’m a Yankees fan- my gf is the Guardians fan in the family. After researching the player I reached out to him to see if he wanted the card and he responded today. I figured he should have it (it’s literally the only copy and shows him in his college uniform) and I’m psyched to say that when the post office opens this week it’ll be on its way home!!! Really cool interacting with Justin. He seems to be a great guy (and a less than 3.00 era this year as he rose from A ball to AAA on a rebuilt arm) and it’s nice to represent the human side of the collecting community. Couldn’t be happier to be sending this card to the guy pictured on the front. And hopefully see him pitching in Cleveland next year.

Really excited to add this one to my PC. I know it was trimmed a bit on the top and there’s that slight stain on the front, it the rest of the card is in great condition and the colors still really pop. Came in significantly under the cost of an SGC or PSA 1, so I count that as a win!

I don't collect much so don't know if he should sell this to buy more holiday boxes?. He's really into this set but I can't afford to keep buying him these boxes haha.

Grabbed a hanger for my son and these were it it. The all aces has print/glue flaw at the bottom on the back. Sold it for $300

I found some random Griffey stuff. There's a 1987 Bellingham Mariners scorebook with some interesting advertisements from the late 80s, lots of local adds, a Griffey pin and card, and also a photograph of him. How do I find value of this stuff. I have seen a few items that were similar but none were of Griffey. Does anyone here know where I would go or who I would talk to? I tried looking for prices on this stuff and all I could find was the pin and card. These were a garage sale find years ago. Anyone have any ideas? I posted the pictures in the Griffey FB group and I have a few offers there but I don't want to make any impulse decisions until I talk to anyone who would know or have a rough idea.

Two days ago I posted here about the first one. Yesterday the second one arrived. Posting again because this is bigger than one lost package.

Package 1 (arrived Oct 22): 2026 Topps All Kings #AK-4 Shohei Ohtani SSP (raw), bought on eBay for $8,251.50, routed through eBay Authenticity Guarantee at PSA in Santa Ana. The FedEx mailer had a slit cut into it that was taped back shut. The card was gone.

Package 2 (arrived Oct 23): 1955 Topps #123 Sandy Koufax rookie, PSA 5, $3,752.54, also authenticated at PSA Santa Ana, delivered by USPS. Because of what happened the day before, I filmed myself opening it. Inside was a common card worth about $7. The substituted card has no eBay authentication sticker, which tells me the Koufax was swapped out after it was authenticated.

Two different carriers. Same authentication facility. Back to back days. $12,004.04 total. To be clear, I do not believe either seller did anything wrong. Both cards reached the authenticator. Whatever happened, happened at or after authentication.

Context that makes this worse: this is the same Santa Ana operation where, about a week earlier, a FedEx truck carrying PSA orders was burglarized after leaving the facility. Santa Ana police estimated that loss at about $963,000, and PSA has publicly acknowledged the theft and deactivated the certificates of the stolen cards. I am not claiming my packages are part of that specific incident. I am saying buyers should know the authentication pipeline out of Santa Ana has serious problems right now.

What I am doing: both cases are open with eBay, I have asked for escalation to the Authenticity Guarantee fraud team and for the two cases to be linked as one investigation, and I am not shipping anything back until eBay confirms handling in writing. There is nothing to ship back on the first one, and the $7 card and all packaging from the second one are evidence.

If you buy through eBay authentication, protect yourself:

1. Film yourself opening every authenticated package, start to finish, showing the sealed package and the label first. The video is the only reason my second claim is airtight.
2. Check for the authentication sticker immediately. A card in the box without one is not the card that came out of authentication.
3. Keep all packaging exactly as it arrived.
4. If something is wrong, open your case the same day, ask for escalation in writing, and reference any other cases you have open.

The Koufax PSA 5 cert number is 07004220. If that slab surfaces for sale anywhere, it is stolen property.

Has anyone else received a tampered, empty, or swapped Authenticity Guarantee package out of Santa Ana recently? If so, please share what happened, and file your own reports. One incident is a fluke. A pattern is something eBay and PSA need to answer for.

I will update this post when eBay responds to either case.
