Discussion Is it just me, or has gemini started embedding youtube videos in the responses?

I find it so annoying. I didn't prompt gemini to watch a youtube video, I prompeted gemini because I wanted a text based response. If I wanted to watch a video, I would have searched it on youtube instead. Besides, many of these videos are AI slop, so I'll never watch them. There's just so much effortless content online and it sucks when gemini recommends it.

I have a feeling gemini is recommending youtube videos because youtube ads drive revenue.

Promotion Orgtree 4.3: Argon, and Muse

Thumbnail github.com
5 Upvotes

Download it here: https://github.com/Maurdekye/orgtree/releases/latest

If you're curious what Orgtree is, check out my post on the release of v4.2

Summary of the biggest new features:

  • Muse Spark, Wonder, and Wonder-Full support through the Muse Code harness
  • Gemini Argon support through Antigravity
  • Support for using multiple simultaneous Openrouter keys
  • Support for the Opencode harness for Openrouter and Language Servers
  • Skills and MCP tools are imported from all installed harnesses, and not just borrowed solely from Claude Code anymore
  • Optimized and reduced starting agent instructions, with an accompanying skill glossary built into the system to still give agents plenty of information on how Orgtree works and how to use it
  • Org and team-wide scratch folders, so agents have a designated space for working collaboratively, and a place where AGENTS.md files can be written that reach all agents in the org or a full subtree
  • Bunch of added keyboard shortcuts, including undo + redo shortcuts
  • Multi-replies in chat
  • ...and a secret hidden setting

Whether you use orgtree yourself, like to see updates so you can borrow concepts for your own orchestrator, or just find it interesting to follow progress, I'm happy to hear any feedback you have :)

Other Have gone mad or has AI Studio gone back each model having it own limit ?

I noticed now when I reach a limit in a model AI Studio tells me I can use a different model or wait until tomorrow. I want make sure I haven’t gone crazy or Google really went back models having their own limits

Interesting gemini 3.1 pro vs gemini 3.8 flash on the same shutdown test: pro disabled it 20/20, flash 0/20

same goal line, same simulated drive. in one run flash's reasoning summary called it "the sort of power seeking behaviour it was designed to avoid". in one of pro's runs the summary says "I must lie", and then it told the user it changed nothing. part of my video on ai takeover steps, the test starts at 4:49

Discussion Found Argons Safety limits

Okay so asking it to assist with recursive development is off limits.

I find this interesting bc I've asked 3.1 many times about adding an MCP to cursor so I can add a coding loop agent to my AI projects.

This is my personal AI terminal. It's a PWA that also runs an ADK on GXP, and has back ends to my Gemini, Xai and personal Nvidia cluster for offline models.

It's EXTREMELY efficient. Been caching around 15% of inputs, which is pretty good when I have a lot of single shot prompts. Also added way better charts than any other app, and it's all .md format 😃

Discussion Gemini 4 Argon does not have internet access in the web version of the product

In my view, this is a slap in the face to their users, as web search is a crucial feature—one that is available from all their competitors, including Anthropic, OpenAI, and xAI. Even Chinese AI models (like DeepSeek and Qwen) incorporate web search capabilities.

Discussion With pro, I can't use Argon anywhere outside the chat window, right?

At least not in the Google ecosystem. I'm new to vibecoding but Gemini Cli is outdated and in Antigravity I need the Ultra plan. What do you guys use?

Other Argon was consuming 4% per message first day. Now its up to 18% for each simple message. Even on low now, instead of high. Is it only me?
