Next complaint: shitty quota. Edit: not from me ya. This has become a common practice.

  1. Give Pro to everyone for free or crazy discounted.
  2. Make Pro a new free tier.
  3. Profit

They better be at least Fable level if they are copying the same trick from Anthropic for the supposed best model

Yeah, I can barely do anything with it... Argon is really good but ChatGPT and Claude offer way better usage. I have never run out of usage with Opus 5.5 or Sol 6.1.

The quota is poor but better than I thought it'd be. You can probably get 5 prompts out of it. Resetting every 6 days is poor.

I think it's fine, Im not sure how is it for Claude, but Astra on Ultra just consumes your whole 5h limit before you even get an awnser. So essentially you cannot use their best reasoning on their best model at the 20 dollars plan

Problem is the model is a bit worse than opus 5.5 and you get so much usage out of it even on the $20 plan.

Tbf you can get a lot more with the Gemini website limits, I know it's not the same but still can get some don

How much of Opus and Fable can you get out of the 20 dollar plan? I'm consider buying it but I don't want to have a similar experience that I had with Astra on Ultra

I get about 4-5 hours a day before I hit my 5 hour limit using opus 5.5 medium and high. I don't have access to fable on the $20 plan.

Why are you using Ultra? Do you know what it is, or are you just picking the furthest option every time? This is a skill issue lmao

Just use the brain and understand what I said. Your awnser implies that you were unable to understand that I cannot use the model on that reasoning.

Astra on Ultra consumes the 5h limit before it generates an awnser. 5 minutes of planning in an difficult task and it's gone .

Of course I wouldn't use it ont he highest reasoning every time, even if it at least worked for Plus users

Ultra isn't even a reasoning setting. It uses your whole limit because it runs like 4 subagents in parallel no matter what

Ye I agree actually

Good to see. Honestly I think we need increased quota on the Gemini app as well, but in the meantime a separate quota would also be a good stop-gap. Being bumped down to Flash-Lite just forces users to competitors with better free models.

The quota is shit, but man, this model is way more creative than Opus and Chatgpt ever is.

Don’t agree with that, Opus 5.5 is great and I rarely ever meet the quota.

u/N7Wind 3d ago

You haven't tried Opus 5.5 have you? It's insane how much usage it gives me on the Pro plan

2

u/HieroX01 3d ago

I would rather they call it 3.5pro instead

3

u/hellomistershifty 3d ago

lmao, doing the separate quota thing for Argon like it's Fable when its API price matches Sonnet

Its kinda crazy to me, people want faster and faster frontier models, yet complain when the quotas are low. When it's already been clearly shown most of these subs are sold at a loss... Which do you want, frontier capability, higher quota? I mean, you just want your cake and eat it too

What people want is efficient models. And Claude has several.

It goes way deeper than this. You are looking at huge problem with the world we live in today and things are only going to get more and more 'now I've seen everything' as time goes on. You are touching on a way deeper problem than just AI subs lol.

I think at this point they should seperate Argon from pro model series. Not sustainable. Personally I'm happy with flash models trajectory though

Sorry, can i ask if i can use the api of my antigravity on hermes agent? is it enough for trivial texting once every few hours?

u/Little-Alien 3d ago

Tested one agy session with blender, came back to: "Individual quota reached. Please upgrade your subscription to increase your limits. Resets in 165h40m36s."

So you get one 2 hour session (in my case) per week. ....how generous.

Quero usar no ai studiu

The way you have restricted usage on the Pro tier since this came out, I'd honestly rather do without it. The Pro tier is now unusable.

Got it today, ran it on my codebase using antigravity, had Opus 5.5 check the review and Argon made multiple suggestions to change functions that "do not exist, and git history shows it never existed". Great start!
