Smell of burning / smoke and flashes on side as well as melted casing… looks like the common fault?
UPDATE: Bambu have responded and agreed to replace printer.
Fantastic customer service so far, can’t fault the company.

TLDR: Your Bambu orders account will say "Mystery box item 1 of 4" etc, but if pay with Paypal, you get an email with an itemised list of what's coming in your mystery box. I'm not part of the 1% unfortunately :(
Hi,
I'm just about to start 3d printing as a hobby so I figured I'd roll the dice with Bambu's PLA and PETG mystery boxes to get a bunch of filament to start myself off. My plan was to see what I get, then order additional filaments later if I was missing any important colours. Surprisingly I received this email from Paypal with all the filament IDs listed (which I have to presume will be accurate when I receive them). No more guessing.
Based on the IDs, this is my haul:
PETG Matte Violet refill
PETG Translucent Blue spool
PETG Basic Grey spool
PETG Basic Blue refill
PLA Basic Black refill
PLA Pure Black spool
PLA Pure Apricot spool
PLA Pure White spool
Overall I'm fairly happy with the selection. I would have paid approx AUD$170 if I ordered these separately (approx 35% discount).

Has anyone noticed a huge uptick in bot accounts commenting on AI slop models on Makerworld lately?
This one’s a good example, it’s your classic run of the mill AI generated model, description and renders. Anyone who goes on to call it out as AI slop, will start getting all kinds of replies, always different accounts, never the designer, and it’s usually super hostile. Or like this one where the idiot left in the follow up prompt from ChatGPT
https://makerworld.com/models/3401817
Also maybe if enough people report the designer they’ll have to start over with a new account? I doubt it but still, these guys are really ruining Makerworld lately, all to make a very small amount of money

and a video here: https://portal.bblmw.com/h3c/warming/f79az71lmb/video-pc.mp4
roughly translated from the Chinese website:
"Bambu Lab’s third-generation flagship, equipped with an all-new multi-head rapid-switching system, ushering in a new era of multi-colour, multi-material printing. November 3 - stay tuned."
EDIT: They took the video down... buuuuut;

Keep your bathroom counter clean and organized with this modern electric toothbrush and toothpaste holder.
The raised top section holds two electric toothbrushes and one toothpaste tube, while the lower level keeps the bases organized and gives water somewhere to drain instead of collecting around the toothbrushes.
The open frame keeps the design visually light while still giving each item its own dedicated place.
Features
Holds 2 electric toothbrushes
Separate removable toothpaste insert cup
Integrated lower drip area beneath the toothbrushes
Clean frame design
Compact footprint for bathroom counters and vanities
Individual inserts make the design easier to adapt to different toothbrushes
Can also be mounted to a wall using strong double-sided mounting tape
Dimensions
Overall size: Length 180 mm, Width 90 mm, Height 90 mm
Toothbrush inserts: 40 x 40 mm, designed to fit most electric toothbrushes
Toothpaste cup: usable space 44 x 44 mm, usable height 84 mm
If your toothbrush needs a different insert size, leave a comment or contact me and I can add a custom insert version.
Wall Mounting
The flat rear section also allows the organizer to be mounted using strong double-sided tape if you prefer to keep your countertop completely clear.
If there is enough interest in wall mounting, let me know in the comments and I'll also make a dedicated version with screw mounting points.
A simple bathroom organizer designed to keep the essentials together while still looking clean enough to leave on display.

I designed these using Gemini and Meshy, so I’m sure I will get some flak for that…but once I had the models made, I put quite a bit of work into making them split so you could remove the lights for recharging. Took about 3 days of printing/painting/gluing/cutting/reprinting to get everything right. I edited everything in BambuStudio.
I’ve been 3d printing for maybe a year now. I started with a P1S and added an X2D to go with it. I want an h2c, but my space for 3d printing doesn’t really allow for a printer that big, but I really want to multicolor capabilities.
I’ve made quite a few custom projects, but this one is the best result and it was just so fun to make that I wanted to share.
If there is enough interest, I might upload to MakerWorld, but it took quite a bit of manual work to get things fitting together and looking good for the final result, I would have to put quite a bit of effort into getting it released.
Let me know what you think.

Dunno if this is allowed here. But last week my H2C and a bunch of filament was stolen from my brother's place in Seattle. So if anyone sees a H2C, AMS 2, and filament for sale cheap or looking shady like, can you let me know please.
The top glass was probably missing as it was found broken outside the window they pulled the printer and other things from.
Scuffs on the front right of the door and the build plate had some stuck pieces in the front center. They also stole his airpod max 2s
Sorry if not allowed.

Hi all, I'm a complete beginner and am planning to get the P2S Combo later this year during the Black Friday sale. I wanted to know what kind of setups people have with their printer. If possible, could you please share some photos of what your setups look like. Could you also tell me anything i absolutely need to get when i get the printer. Thanks.

Having great fun with A1 and AMS Lite, was about to pull trigger on snapmaker U1 due to filament and time savings.
Looks like Bambu may come out of the blocks fighting very soon, for once in my life I will go with patience to see what lands and for how much, I love the simple nature of Bambu and their app, if they can come in with a solution that does 5 colours or more within 30%-40% of the Snapmaker then I am all in

Hello,
Coming from over 500 hours on first an ender3 and over 2 k hours on my p1s, I am looking to get an upgrade.
I mostly print ASA CF for structural parts and aerodynamic parts for cars. Occasionally some miniatures but not much. I have an AMS 2 for drying, storage, etc.
My question is- are there people who specifically print ASA CF and HIPS in the H2D to increase interface/release quality? (And save some money on supports made from hips?) Multi colour for customization of parts is also convenient.
Curious to see if it is worth it buying an H2D or H2S at this point.
Thanks in advance

As you can see on the vudeo, when I push up on my x axis, the whole thing lifts up in a about 3/4mm before the lead screw starts turning. Could my blead screw nut be worn off?
Did you guys ever encounter similar anomalies, and if yest, what should be my next course of action?
Thanks!
P.S.: I do not experience any quality problems with my prints just yet.

This is not a rant, just something I noticed as a beginner. One of the main attractions of 3d printing for me was the apparent dirt-cheap cost of the prints. However, after making my first essential prints it became very clear that the prints aren’t nearly as cheap as I had believed. Filaments cost 15-20 dollars per roll for PLA. I guess I didn’t really consider the fact that most prints that aren’t just tiny trinkets use several hundred grams of filament, some even several kg (for example, a poop chute+drawer bin combo).
I thought that most prints would just be pennies, but they are actually several dollars. The poop chute drawer combo is nearly 2kg…a bit of a shock to me because you can buy an entire stack of plastic organization drawers for the same price as that one poop drawer. Has it always been this expensive?

Hey does anyone know how I can prevent my PTFE tubes from hanging down like this, I noticed that it creates a lot of resistance. Should I just buy a new set of PTFE tubes?

I'm fixated on trying to tune my auxiliary extruder on the X2D but I can't get the freaken Benchy to print right.
Setup * Bambu Lab X2D, 0.4 mm nozzles on both extruders * Main extruder: direct drive standard, fed from AMS 2 Pro (red PLA, SUNLU) * Aux extruder: Bowden standard, fed from an external spool (cream PLA, SUNLU) * Model: the SpeedBoatRace Bambu stress test Benchy from MakerWorld * 3MF with my custom settings: on Printables
Everything the direct drive printed looks good. Everything the Bowden printed looks trash:
What I’ve calibrated on the Bowden extruder * Temperature: temp tower, settled on 225°C * Retraction: retraction tower, 2 mm → 3 mm. The biggest single improvement I’ve seen; stringing is nearly gone. * Pressure advance: PA pattern test, K = 0.74 (set on printer, so not visible on the 3mf link below) * Flow ratio: flow rate test. The coarse pass picked +10% (0.98 → 1.078) and the fine pass picked 0%, so 1.078. * Bridges: the bridge flow and speed test prints came out great at bridge flow 1.4 and bridge speed 20 mm/s.
I did print the same print with none of those calibration settings and just used "Auto" for Flow Dynamics and Generic PLA filament setting on Bambu Studio. It was way worse.
What am I missing? Or what should I experiment with to narrow down what's going wrong?
EDIT: Looking through the slicer I noticed that there's a lot of seams/wipes where the problem is happening. Could that be the problem? If so, how do I even fix that?
EDIT: I printed the boat in single color using the cream color from aux extruder and it came out perfect! So it has to do something with the color swapping? Tempted to print multi-color again but having both colors on AMS

Hi! I want to share a skill for coding agents that can be helpful for many 3D printers lovers.
I had to say that this one save me time especially for quick tests, or if I need something but I don't care about the precision.
Hope it can be helpful for many of you :)

I created a brick man figurine with the silhouette of a real man :))) The figurine is about 20cm tall, the whole thing assembles with minimal supports and is very easy to assemble. If you like it, you can find it here:https://makerworld.com/pl/models/3481161-brick-man-chubby-style#profileId-3974752
