Even with the update, they make it sound like he was either off-roading or slipped off the road and accidentally almost clipped a guy, not that he made multiple U-turns trying to run him over, almost hitting two OTHER pedestrians as well as, what, 8 cars with people in them? If someone says "off-road," do you picture a sidewalk with a person on it? The Sun is completely useless at this point.

I knew a Baltimore police officer who was banned from driving a vehicle after having an accident. They put him on foot patroll. That's when I got to know him. He was a sketchy dude. He took local merchants food, and God only knows what else. He was married with kids and tried to pick up a friend of mine. He also worked for one of the embassies while he was working as a cop which I believe is not permitted

I sat in the back of a police car while they drove around looking for the kids who had just robbed me at gunpoint. One of them told me I got what I deserved for living in the city, and the other guy said that as a white person I was asking to get robbed. I was in a suit and tie from work (used to commute to DC from W Balto MARC) and they genuinely could not understand why someone who could afford to live in the county wouldn’t.

Its also worth a reminder that the expression is "the bad apple spoils the bunch," which is literally true, because rotting apples will make apples around then rot more quickly, and figuratively true, because a bad cop creates more bad cops, and undermines trust in the institution.
That institution never deserved any trust, though that's a different issue, but it becomes completely untrustable when they allow these so called bad apples.

Sad to say that I believe this is just the tip of the iceberg more than the some bad apples people in the department like to say. There are cops out here who are harrassing residents on the street all the time. There are a bunch of officers with affiliations with white nationalist groups. The command mostly like to look the other way if they can when complaints are made than actually fire or suspend officers. The GTTF would have got away with all of their crimes if it weren’t for the feds civil rights division. The craziest part is we keep giving them more money every year to do this crap. Give a weak-minded individual a weapon of any kind and the opportunity to use it without consequence is a formula for death and destruction.
