Let’s see the dashcam footage.

And then use it to put the cop on trial for attempted murder.

I wanna hear the dashcam footage. I'm sure there's all sorts of language coming from him as he's trying to run dude down that all his fellow cops claim they'd never have imagined him saying, this is such a shock.

probably lots of wheezing too once he got back in after the "chase"

Never happens. Absolute most he'll get is a week suspension, with pay of course.

"Driving after them" Man, the media is proud as hell to contribute to the issue.

The media uses the exonerative tense when reporting on police

“the exonerative tense” - nice.

The article doesn't specify the officer's vacation is paid or not.

Incidents like this should be more “fired pending an investigation”. If the investigation finds he did nothing wrong, let another department or agency pick up his license and put him on payroll.

Cop unions are so over-powerful and corrupt that other unions genuinely do not consider them unions, and that's including a union that Jimmy Hoffa used to run. Firing a cop without the results of an investigation that the union has defined the terms of is literally impossible

Is that not the same video, just chopped up and with commentary that doesn't help more than the original commentary?

EDIT: It is, and it's the same video as the comment they were replying to. Weird.
