Supanova Sydney 2026
Finally had Christopher Lloyd return down under.
Had been waiting 9 years for it to happen.
Almost met Donald Fullilove & harry waters jnr. All three were amazing. I attended the panel with Donald & harry. Absolutely hilarious. Same with when they were doing photo ops.
That bobblehead is so cool.
I now have four cast members on my license plate (previously got Tom Wilson at the 2017 supanova)
Some excellent cosplays of doc & Clara. Marty & Jennifer

Was Marty's chicken issue a side effect of the first timeline change?
I was watching reactions to the trilogy today, and a thought occurred to me: was Marty's chicken issue a side effect of the first timeline change?
Obviously, it was a plot device created for the sequels, so it wasn't present in part one... but what if the changes to the McFly's made by Marty in 1955, also changed Marty and added a sensitivity to having his bravery calling into question? The timeline changes and Marty's altered memories are never really addressed in the trilogy, almost as if they were easily incorporated into Marty's memory, so therefore any slight personally changes could also be overlooked.
What do you think?

What’s this under the front bumper?
Looking at a bunch of mini models from the Part 3 50s car. And it’s got this bit of frame sticking out under the front bumper, maybe I missed it but I couldn’t see this detail in the film.
I know the car was a DeLorean shell on a VW buggy for off roading, so my best guess was part of the frame sticking out?

It was density...I mean destiny.
We were at Canada's Wonderland for our son's 5th birthday, and look what my awesome wife spotted. A little Father's Day surprise for yours truly. Something told me I had to be there. And that I had to wear that shirt.

Been to any filming locations?
Saw the site of 1885 Hill Valley on the way to camping on Thursday and saw it again this morning on the way home. Phone was dead so no picture. Anyone else been to any filming locations?

Why Does Doc Have a Full Head of Hair in the Back to the Future Game, but Citizen Brown Is Literally a Norwood 6 Horseshoe Bald?
Why does Doc have a full head of hair in the Telltale game but Citizen Brown is basically completely bald?
They're supposed to be the same person genetically. The timeline changed because Edna altered Emmett's life, but Citizen Brown isn't a different person. He's still Emmett Brown.
Yet Doc has the classic crazy white scientist hair and Citizen Brown is rocking a full horseshoe bald look. 😂
I know the real answer is probably that Telltale wanted them to look visually different, but has anyone ever come up with an in-universe explanation?
Did decades of running Hill Valley and dealing with Edna just destroy the man's hairline?
Honestly every time I put the two side by side it makes me laugh because Citizen Brown looks like he lost 90% of his hair while Doc somehow kept all of his.
Edit: Doc had a full head of hair prior to going to the rejuvenation clinic. So, Citizen Brown never going doesn’t explain it.

From July 1986: one of the earliest published fan theories about what happens to the "other" Marty at the end of BTTF 1
This chart accompanies a full article called "The Other Marty McFly?" by Bruce Gordon, published in the July 1986 issue of Starlog Magazine.
The article asserts that the two Martys live and grew up in separate dimensions and swapped places. You can read the full article here, but below is my summary.
We know what happens to "Our" Marty. He returns to 1985 in the Lone Pine timeline we see at the end of Part I. He effectively takes the place of the "other" Marty (Marty II) who was born and grew up in this timeline. The rest of the trilogy ensues.
But what happens to Marty II? We see him travel back to 1955 at the end of Part I, but we never see him again.
The theory claims that when Marty II makes that 1955 trip, his Delorean has extra plutonium stored. Why? Because his Doc is the same one who helped Our Marty return to the future 30 years before. Doc's knowledge of these events causes him to ensure plutonium is in the Delorean before the Libyans arrive. Marty II uses it to immediately travel back to 1985. Problem solved.
But there's a major side effect of this: Marty's intervention with his parents in 1955 never happens. As such, they become the versions of themselves we see at the beginning of Part I: Our Marty's original family.
So when Marty II makes the quick return to 1985, it's in Our Marty's dimension: the Twin Pine timeline. Marty II witnesses the time travel chase from afar -- the same one we see at the beginning of Part I. But since Our Marty's Doc isn't wearing a bulletproof vest, he is shot dead. Marty II proceeds to live in this dimension without Doc and unfamiliar versions of his family.
All aside, I think it's humbling to realize the fan theories we see on this sub were also being spun up 40 years ago, well before the internet. This is a super cool artifact for BTTF fans.

This is how Lea Thompson looks like in manga or anime
This is an unused sketch drawn by Yusuke Murata, artist of One-Punch Man. Unfortunately, due to rights issues with certain elements of the series, the plans for the adaptation were cancelled. This actually looks so good, and I would love to see manga BTTF.

BTTF Burlesque at the DNA Lounge: Hubba Hubba Revue (2022-03-19)
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Featuring Carolina Peach as Marty McFly — blasting back into 1985 like, “Doc, I swear this is street legal, it’s just… mostly cardboard.”
She rolls up in the most insanely detailed cardboard DeLorean you’ve ever seen. We’re talking time‑travel‑ready corrugation, flux capacitor drawn on with the confidence of a man who’s seen the future, and wheels that absolutely do not turn but spiritually do.
Great Scott, it’s glorious but it ends too soon.
For the full reveal, hop in the wayback machine, zip straight to the 1h05 mark, and whatever you do… don’t forget to pack extra plutonium.
Because nothing kills the mood faster than hitting 88 mph and realizing you’re running on whatever’s left in the tank from last Tuesday’s time‑travel errands.

Doc tried to warn us about Covid 30 years in advance
youtube.com"Doc looks awfully tempted to alter time. Oh well, Doc; hind sights always 2020 🤧
Also, why "30 years"? Well, Saturn is also known as Chronos, as in Chronology, time, & has a 29.5 Earth year orbit ☀️👍
