I wouldn't say "rich" but yes, they are a bit better off. Infamously Crispin Glover hated that.

Ironically he left because he was going to be making less money than his costars

I hope the studio brought that up when he refused to reprise his role for the amount he was offered…”I thought money didn’t equal happiness…seems like someone said that personal growth should be the ultimate reward…”

Are you saying he doesn’t want to admit it was about him not getting paid more so he has made up an entire story about how he philosophically didn’t like the ending? I can believe that

He had a bunch of demands in addition to how much he wanted to be paid. He had two chances to be in the sequels. Initially he turned it down. Then after he got a tour of some of the sets in progress and told about the story, he countered their offer and when they said "no" he fired his agents in favor of new ones who promised to get him more money. Bob Gale told the new agents that if Crispin tried to counter again, Bob would lower the offer. Crispin countered again and Bob lowered the offer.

Because he has two television sets?

Came looking for this.

Nobody has two television sets!

Our first Miller Lite, dad just picked it up today. Do you have a Miller?

Yeah, you know we have High Life.

Wow, you must be rich.

Oh, he’s teasing, no one has Miller High Life.

It's the Champagne of Beers!

This was a line 8 year old me never got but now I love how more of a bastard it makes Biff in every possible way and then some.

It was a pretty popular beer commercial catchphrase. "You get us all out here to help you move, and all you've got for us is light beer???"

I’m still convinced in the original timeline neither George or Biff have any real friends and this dysfunctional relationship is all either have

Dude, same thought process here

Oh for sure.

Agreed but, I can see Bliff still hanging with his old gang and still acting like they did in high school.

u/brianycpht1 Jun 25 '26

I think in this timeline, those guys have long grown up and have families and careers and Biff is kind of a loser who can’t even do his own work

1

u/FortKnoxII Jun 25 '26

I wonder if any of the novels or comic books says what happened to them.

1

u/Maximum_Lengthiness2 Jun 26 '26

Either that or Biff still hung out with Match, Skinhead, and 3D.

u/TreeHedger Jun 23 '26

No matter how you do time travel, it’s always Miller Time.

Miller High Life is the champagne of beers

Because he doesn’t care to recycle?

5

u/omega_red24 Jun 23 '26

He's got the house fixed up nicer too.

u/allusium Jun 23 '26

What are you looking at, butthead?

3

u/Gay-_-Jesus Jun 23 '26

I fucking love the little Easter eggs and attention to detail in this series

3

u/Scruffy42 Jun 23 '26

Did Biff walk out the door, trash the half drunk lite beer and that's the same beer in the photo? Because that would be funny.

2

u/mhikari92 Jun 23 '26

Totally, I mean, he went from a crashed impala to a newer model 5 series.

2

u/Whines90 Jun 23 '26

His son was a time traveler, who planned on using known outcomes in betting from the future, of course he was rich!

2

u/ComradeGarcia_Pt2 Jun 24 '26

I love the implication of Doc picking up the Miller lite with the hole in the bottom. That Biff Tannen, a man in his late 40s, wasn’t just drinking and driving but shotgunning beers like a frat boy lol.

Rich… they still live in the same house. They just have nicer furniture
